I like the vid, I run uas and it’s a 250 2t or 450 4t engine in a flat kart and they are wicked fast. At one of our local tracks with some banking we run a second faster the the 500 outlaws but obviously the outlaws are faster on most tracks. I would really love to build and outlaw kart someday but my cr250 UAS has not let me down. High hp karts are the wildest thing I’ve ever driven

Thank you so much! I've seen the UAS run before and they are fast. Yeah once you get a kart with a 250 or 450 on it, the power to weight ratio is there. They are just a blast to drive!

I’m over in Springfield, MO and just sold my Micro Sprint. Was thinking of getting an Outlaw Kart but not sure where the tracks are that run them.
    Shawnee
    Creek County Arena (Winter)
    Red Dirt ?

Yeah that's the only problem with the outlaw karts around here. Shawnee is really the closest and one of the best places to race in the winter. I think Doe Run and a couple other tracks race close to ST.Louis race also. My teammates mostly go to TX and race in the summertime. It's also why I decided to go back into the modifieds. There's a lot more tracks to race.

There's more big money shows in the flat karting though...if you wanna travel.

That's is true. There's also a lot more tracks and racers running flat karts. Outlaw karts can be challenging, depending on where you live, to even find a track that runs them.

I'm not real familiar with the champ kart stuff at all. But I think they are more like the flat or speedway karts with a cage than the outlaw stuff. But I could be wrong. Unless they are running 250-500 cc 65-75hp?

The most expensive class I have found yet ! is the class and the track I race at now.. not really liking it ..... open modified wing karts you must build the most bad azz flathead , clone or animal and pray it stays together with limited rules to keep the engine from flying apart .(no weld on engine bracing etc) ..for $2000 to $4000 dollars every couple weeks ... Just to keep up, but is it a blast absolutely if I don't go broke

Yeah they have that class around here too, Mod Outlaw they call it. But you are twisting those little motors for all they got in that class. You should call Luke Mcgee, he is really good at making power for those and they definitely last longer than a couple of weeks. Hopefully anyway hahaha! For that amount of money you could get a good 450 and just run the outlaw class. It's really in my opinion the best. Those karts got some speed and are a lot of fun. And a good engine will last awhile.
