Joe and Ming are souls together beyond space and time. We are talking about a second chance given by Destiny to Joe and Ming, to make things in the right way for finally being together. What we dont understand, Destiny understands, having its own higher ways for all of us. Many hurried to call Joe colour blind, forgetting this main message- there is a "third person" in the story background- DESTINY! The one who's keeping Ming- Joe in extreme contexts just for what is happening now- they start to understand everything what "covered" their hearts and souls in previous life. Love is Love - most powerful feeling ever- able to rise people hearts beyond the sky or sunk them in the darkest deepth of life; able to make weak every person at least once in life, but also able to cure a heart lost in misery. Destiny's ways are impredictible and anyone can be a "Joe" in a day or a "Ming" in another. This series is not about just Love- but is full of lessons about Chance, Forgiveness, Honesty and Seeing more than surfaces.

Agree. This is the essence of the story. While I did not like the way Ming treated Joe or the way Joe caved to him and tolerated the intolerable, this is a story of enduring love. If the series follows the novel, Ming will prove his love for Joe in the coming episodes. Though in my mind, he demonstrated his love in the three years Joe was gone and in his grief over his disappearance and body being found. Joe proves his love in continuing to hang on. Love this compelling story, dysfunctional as it is!

Now we understand why ming was like that before .. and he come to his senses now ... in today episode I just love Ming , full of expressions , head over heals for joe ❤he dares to share his feelings wih his father 👍

I would say poom is an excellent actor. During first 3 episodes the way he showed joes innocent love and affection for ming with his facial expressions and in today’s episode how his facial expression different like it’s shows the confidence kind of affection towards ming. He still love Ming but his expression is different not innocent kind of. Poom really done well those parts.

Mings father is bad- a real torturer and extremly conservative. Finally we will see also Mings story- to understand how he grow up having his preferences for men in such family was not just a challenge, but a forced resignation to what he felt during years. With an abusive father, it was quite understandable that Ming would end up having some violent trauma. And Tongs manipulative presence in Mings life since being teenager knowing his feelings for him is the second huge impact on Mings. These are one of the big reasons Joe will start defending and standing up for Ming, understanding some of his past reactions.
Mings father is something else Omg this is about to get heavy so I hope people have tissues because once they see how Ming grew up and what Ming is about to go through i can’t wait for Joe to start defending him and Ming’s brother to start defending Ming and Joe
Watching this episode you really could feel how much Ming loves joe and how he felt while he lost Joe.they are joined and that’s just how it is. The best thing was finally smiles and enjoyment. So tired of angry and hate. IT really was getting old! Ming not only proved his love at the end but gave tong the fu he deserves! He’s going to do something bad to Joe I know it!

It took 10 episodes for me to actually like Ming for present day. Past Ming I will never like. Yess that’s a great way to end the episode. Can’t wait for next week episode ❤

In the novel it was the sister who came in the meeting with Tong and who was also against the relationship. And humiliated Joe. The mother love Ming so much that she was more persuasive than the father. His father even locked him up. But his grandfather finally set him free. brother Mike was the most supportive. But I loved the changes in the series too.
I almost chocked with laughter at Tita Josie reaction when Ming said he couldn’t sleep because he only think of the bad things he did to joe
And he was like ‘ of which they where plenty by the way 😹😹😹😹😹

I still say Joe is a prime example of a very weak minded person and Ming knows that he is very good at controlling Joe and even part of Joe life all Ming has to do is say he sorry he loves him a cry a few tears and Joe. give in and everyone knows at the end Joe is going back to Ming it not going to be a surprise

This is the first episode where we've seen Ming treat Joe like a person and not an object he owns. It's the first time he's expressed how hard it was for him when old Joe died and how he only got into show business to make it easier for Joe to find him. It's the first time he's voiced just how scared he is that Joe won't forgive him and will disappear. And it's the first time Ming actively put Joe first and not just over the asshat Tong, but his family as well. Does it make up for everything Ming has done? NO. But it's a start in the right direction.

No matter how much charm you use........Ming is still using manipulation. This is NOT a healthy relationship. What....because Ming has this sudden realization about his last behavior every unforgivable action/behavior is forgiven? Only sleep with me from behind, making all of my decisions for me, I couldn't ask you about your daily activities and thoughts but you could question about mine, but my over the head with bat knock me unconscious, take me to your condo chain me to the couch physically restraining and preventing me to leave against my will with a smirk on your face, refusal to leave MY home that I pay the bills for, etc etc etc. 😳😤😈
Joe had other options for his mother's care: Manager and Sol. Once again, Ming uses his money for power and control. He is a sad, lost, spoiled child who is used to getting what he wants.

Question for book readers: How is Ming rich? Does he have a trust fund he has access to, was he willed assets or does he have company shares that he gets paid? Thanks
The inheritance is from his grandpa on his dad side ,but his dad is just too conservative. He gets in the way to the point of locking him in and then sending Ming to the hospital with broken hand and fracture ribs. Joe does stand up for Ming and when Ming goes in a hunger strike his brother looks for Joe to help. At the end grandpa comes in and saves the day by telling his father to let the kids do their thing. This part is funny cause they kidnap Joe in the middle of the night in pijamas to have dinner with Mings family while they are all fancy dressed for supper 😂.
In the novel，Ming's grandfather was a high-ranking government official, both in politics and military (a very common character background setting in Chinese novels), powerful and wealthy, so Tong would curry favor with their family and marry Ming's sister for this reason.
Ming inherited the money, Ming's brother went into politics, Ming's sister just enjoyed life.

In real life stories, this is not a good idea😅. Cos a dead person is dead. And its all cos of Ming. Even after coming back to life, nothing can ever be the same. Nothing! Ming was toxic and possed a threat to Joe's life, not just that. This story is trying to beautify a dangerous relationship. Encouraging a leap of another possible death😂

I thought I couldn't hate Tong anymore than I do but he brought it to a new level. He can die already. Why cound't Ming be like this from the beginning? Why did it take Joe dying for him to realize this?! So frusterating!! I know they will end up together but how can Joe just forget everything Ming has done?
