Please shout out Ms. Dekat's 7th and 8th grade homeroom class at Fortuna Middle School in Fortuna, CA! We survived the 7.0 earthquake. Students and staff felt shaking for about 15 seconds and we were in the "strong" shake zone. Students were picked up and school was released early. A shout out after yesterday would meant the world. The earthquake was centered in Scotia, CA. Fortuna is a ten minute drive from Scotia. Today, students are happy to watch CNN10 and come back to school. Thanks for all you do! We love CNN10!
