- Attack on titan final season 4 part 2 opening and ending reaction. What was that?? Rumbling was so hype and ending just destroyed my soul. Emotional damage thanks AOT. What an emotional roller coaster season 4 is about to come to an end and i'm excited to wrap it up with all of you guys here.

I think Eren “doesnt care” that much about Eldia vs Marley, he only sees for those who he can call family, his friends

Felt the exact same way about the ending. Got me on the verge of tears. It has got to be the best ED I've ever seen. As a manga reader, you're able to appreciate it so much more for its profound symbolism & beautiful references, not to mention the stunning visuals & song. Mad props to MAPPA for this

Also notice that on those sceneries with the ruins of HQ, the castle (I think that was where season 2 episode 3-5 took place), and Shiganshina, there are no walls surrounding them.

I'm referring to Mikasa's ED 1 "This Beautiful Cruel World" (Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai). If you watch it you can see how the lyrics and visuals parallel this one :').
That is the darkest ending in AOT. When chap 131 gets adapted people will understand how dark such a beautiful scenery can be...

This anime is too real man. I’m so excited to see how they animate the last episodes. The manga was great, but this will be amazing.
Last chapters were the worst chapters of the whole series and best part was the war for Paradis and paths and I just care about chapters 117-123 and then 130 and 131 then I don't give a fuck what they do 🙄😂😂😂and it's pretty much confirmed that the movie will have an aoe

I cried. Not even kidding. The emotions I've felt, Eren's pain, the cruel world of AoT all came back. The beautiful land Eren left behind in ruins, the future of Eldia. The thoughts all swirled around my mind and I just cried lmao

2:00 I think the tree symbolizes "home" for Eren. It's the place the three of them used to hang out a lot and where he napped in the past. More specifically, it symbolizes the place and people Eren would protect, whatever it takes. Spoiler alert ahead
It's also not coincidentally the exact place Eren's story began and ended.

This is by far one of the most powerful Anime stories ever! Just powerful! Who would have thought back in 2013 when I just happened to see Episode 1 that I would take this incredible journey? Wow...

I think the main problem those people have is the whole mass genocide thing Eren did, although he knew people who had nothing to do with his past would die in the attack. But the whole scene in Marley is pretty good at showing how Eren does not show any lasting hatred towards his enemys anymore because he now understands them and their actions.
I dislike him because at the end of the day he did it for the wrong reasons. I admire the character but I cant root for him anymore. Just wish he had better motives.

. Also people forget tht he himself wanted to remove the titan barrier which is the reason why people hate eldians by letting himself killed by mikasa to free ymir...he is one the most well written anime character
@@dorapinisetti3337 my friend, I was in the same boat as you, but trust me, "saving paradis" was a tertiary goal. Eren did it for selfish and non sensical reasons. The speech he made at 131, those are his true motives.

That was exactly my reaction to the ed. I wasn't a big fan of the op when I first listened(without visuals) to it but the second time I watched it with the visuals and instantly fell in luv. I've watched almost 8 ppl react to the op and ed , so yeah these def r my fav songs. Also the songs r mostly dedicated to Mikasa and armin, especially Mikasa and it's pretty obvious that they're preparing anime watchers for what's abt to come( just like Billy pointed out in the ending).

Eren is the personification of what an individual can become when pushed too far at the edge from an ignorant child that knows nothing of the world into a complex traumatic character that knows what he is doing is terrible but understands that their are only a limited set of choices and none end well, thus he chooses to take the lives of the world to protect his people and loved ones even if they end up hating him for it.
his choice is limited indeed, the moment he gets his hands on Ymir's power, he had a choice to just subdue Marley, but even if he manages to end the discrimination that Eldian has been through it just mean Marley would be the one discriminated next, the titan power struggle will continue, as long as Titan's power remains the cycle of hate will never end, so he decided to destroy 80% of the population in order to save the remaining 20%, it's Thanos logic, the difference is it was the best solution in this case.
Akuma no ko is my fav ending in anime history.. and till this day I have never been able to sing all the way to the end without crying my heart out

The last 2 episodes made me understand that this really is the best anime.

Another small detail I noticed in the scene with Eren getting older in the OP- While Mikasa and Armin are beside him as kids, when he turns they dissapear. Showing how over time Erens ideals have fell out of alignment with even his closest friends, leaving him alone.
Gotta say, when you just paused to say "he's gonna die isn't he" it hit me like a ton of bricks, just that one sentence, even if I've already read the manga, it's such an unbelievably sad thought, the character we've all come to respect and love this entire series, will not only done some very bad things, but also ultimately pay the price for his choices.

This song tells how Eren missed freedom all his entire life, to finally sacrifice his own freedom to protect his people. He is a really tragic character, prisoner by his own fate.

I think the anime will give manga readers jusitce for how they felt at the end. Seeing it in motion picture, its so far excelled at every I expected. Reading those subtitles are probably a mistake for any anime only watcher though,

@@arusu1806 I was able to accept the ending. SPOILER SPOILER INCOMING, anyway..yeah. The famous scene of Eren’s breakdown speaking to Armin is what really killed it for a lot of people. I would for that to be a bit more in detail. Which I think it will be

@Snuggie I’m really glad you were able to understand stand Eren and Isayama’s direction of his character. I think so many people had expectations for Eren and it’s so funny to see how cruel that is. So many of the fan base wanted him to be some kind of God when all he was was really a child trying to understand his purpose in life, weighted with the responsibility of godly powers.

The ending reminds me that this is truly the end of something so big, and everyone that was there from the start, has been through it all! We all have been through it with eren. It's sad it's really coming to an ending
The opening was all about rage and we all were like feeling the pure rage and the hard metal that was such a bop but then the ending just washed away all that, got us all crying and in tears. Billy we are with you. I cried like a bitch too. I still am not ready to come to terms with the fact that this is the final season of this masterpiece. This is the only time we've had Eren's perspective in over a season, the opening and ending are a storytelling device its fantastic - he's literally saying his piece. "I just wanted to save a life, I never wanted to grab a knife." I know that nothing is black and white but holy fuck they spent 4 seasons humanising Eren and he lived long enough to become the villain, the writing is S tier.
He's had survivors guilt since day 1, all the lives that have been lost directly because of him all along the way. The price of their lives must be paid, otherwise what did they die for, nothing? He's not just going to roll over and die, the foreshadowing throughout the show is insane, even Hannes says he won't go down without a fight. That's not who he is.

Showing different parts of paradis while the song says "I will sacrifice everything to protect you" he will sacrifice everything to protect his home and people. And it also showed how he always felt like caged up living inside the walls.

Este vídeo me salió por casualidad, y es curioso porque no hablo inglés pero di el esfuerzo por verlo y comprenderlo, y puedo decir que yo también lloré con este ending, lo sentí igual y por dios, con el opening... me deja tantas cosas. A este punto me deja con el hecho de que creí que había superado el final del manga de Shingeki no Kyojin, pero esta temporada me deja claro que no es así.
