Hey Rex, you can see that the Tamiya designers have really thought about this. The torque transfer on the rear end is a cool trick, and the longer arms makes a huge difference on the suspension. Lovely stuff in that box, quality stuff. Agreed, the higher end Tamiyas really show off what they can do in terms of engineering and performance. I really enjoyed this chatty video, my friend! 😎👍
Well it certainly sounds very zoom-zoom and seems to be fully of cool features. I love watching these as I don't know that much about on road cars and setup. Never done much first hand so watching this build series I will probably learn a good deal more. Congrats on the cool new kit!
It makes me feel very good to hear that, im super happy to try making people interested in touring cars. I was a early 90’s kid so touring cars were my life
@@rexrcs I've always loved to see the tech in them and watch them. So fast especially the carpet track ones. I drive the in my PC game so I bash all the walls without having to fix anything because I bash ALL the walls!!!
Yes on that first point with motor rotation I would say weight transfer what a great design 👌 👍 gotta love tamiya and caster hubs very cool 😎 looks great 👍 that's gonna be a fun build 😀 👍 😎
Hi Rex! The term you're looking for is "Ladder Bars" or "Traction Bars". A Tamiya Kit with BEARINGS!!!! 🙏😁😁👍👍 Yes, a big deal. And Sealed Gear Diffs! Something I always look for, or will purchase separately. ALL my M-Chassis Cars have it. I paused to say that. Back to the Video!
I'm excited! The rotation of the heavy Motor even provides some downward push on the Tires!! Droop adjustment IS nice to have. Chassis looks very tunable! 😎👌 And the Box should even provide a carrying case for the finished Car. I'm a better natural Front Wheel Drive Racer - on Road anyway. I'm HOPING to find the M07 Concept. Everything is hard to find these days, but it's GOT to get better after the COVID Debacle is finally over!! 🤬🤬 Going to your other Video now.
Drift will come ! I use to drift nitro rc before drifting was a thing back in 2003, ive got a few cars still but Im interested im getting my first rwd drift car soon
This should be intresting, it looks like a capable little kit there. :D I havent gotten round to the M07/08 yet, just got the m06, slowly been going from m01 upwards :D
The instructions say not for off road, which I can see, its really not balanced for slippery surfaces, the motor being mod mounted it seems purposeful for high traction surfaces. I did see rckicks try to run one with escort body off road but from what I remember it looked terrible(couldve just been his running footage)
looks like a really nice chassis kit, when did this come out? love watching these videos as I have not been into these road kits and its reall getting me to want to go racing
@@gbraadnl im bad with instagram, and i JUST finally downloaded the tickytocky and its giving me anxiety lol why so many platforms?!? I just started a facebook called more_rc Email? I will start checking my insta every day also

Nice I wanted to get one but I don't like the price tag attached to it and I don't Race, So for me I'm going to have to pass because it would just sit on the Shelf.
$209 CAD from pinnaclehobby as we speak 👀 I hear you though, Rally cars are the only thing allowed to sit on my shelves(after being run once to get real dirt on them), everything else gets run so I also cannot buy anything I dont run

Nice one my friend, like it,
have fun with the build
great vide to thanks for sharing it with us 👊
Thanks Xavier!
Those barrel gears are excellent if you CA glue the plastic bearings in them. Or the brass ones lol.
🤣

Just brought it to track last night and boy does it ever have good traction during acxeleration
At least Tamiya includes ball bearings - un-sealed ones. I recommend sealed bearings for the wheels to help prevent grit reducing the friction.
yes great advice! I chose unsealed for reduced friction although with my driving I will never notice haha
WOW REX, VERY NICE MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!
Wait till you see it on track 😍
Great presentation.👏👏👏👏 I'm still not in On-Road yet, but I am curious, and who knows...
Go on with this rig. I keep watching.
Thank you! I grew up late 80’s early 90’s so touring and on road were my life and rally
