Media too. I've never had anything more than Facebook, but I deleted that too because it was too negative and frustrating. I don't watch the news because it's biased, doesn't matter if it's CNN or Fox. I voted, but my decision isn't important, I still got into debates with people from both "sides". I think if we had no social media, everyone would get a long a lot better.

They were discussing, in school, how laws are made to keep you safe - - I told her, "You are 100% safe here, but how much Freedom do you have" .... She immediately understood that you give up part of your freedom for every bit of safety - - Smart kid after all, apparently .....

To me, the bar about how easy it is to get a gun doesn't necessarily mean he is against owning guns (I don't know his stance on that) it's about how hard it can be to get a job..
Don't know why, but when you said, "Freedom isn't safe", it reminded me of the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. When talking about Jesus (portrayed in the book by "Aslan" the Lion King) he says, "Safe? Who said anything about safe? Course He's not "safe", but He's *good!* He's the King, I tell you!".
I took the gun thing as, it takes weeks to hear back n actually start a job n then another 2 weeks to get paid from a job n you can get a legal gun (around my area) in like 3-5 days. The way I look at the "easier to purchase a gun" line is that it really is. I mean if I want a gun I go down to the store get a background check and buy it. If I want a job I gotta look to find one that I want, because sometimes the job you want isn't available. Then you have to fill out an app. Get prepared for the interview. Go in and do the interview, while hoping that what your selling the company is buying. Then wait to find out, and then they can tell you no. As long as you can pass the background they won't tell you no.

I am an old woman who doesn't listen to this style of music at all. I dont understand it for the most part. I do however, appreciate the embroidery, depth of topics and weaving of entandre and subtle messages into the lyrics and the video!... the unmasking/ take off the blinders/ see the truth/etc. I did spend 5 hours watching reaction videos and am heartened that people I have nothing in common with, agree with me on this. To me, the bar about how easy it is to get a gun doesn't necessarily mean he is against owning guns (I don't know his stance on that) it's about how hard it can be to get a job..
And............you can tell he keeps up with current events; i.e. Amen and Awomen!
Don't know why, but when you said, "Freedom isn't safe", it reminded me of the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. When talking about Jesus (portrayed in the book by "Aslan" the Lion King) he says, "Safe? Who said anything about safe? Course He's not "safe", but He's *good!* He's the King, I tell you!".
I took the gun thing as, it takes weeks to hear back n actually start a job n then another 2 weeks to get paid from a job n you can get a legal gun (around my area) in like 3-5 days.
My favorite bar from this song was the " I'll tell you what it really is, removing information that empowers all the citizens, the truth doesn't damage points of view that are legitimate." Its a hard ass bar but he also looks sexy af when saying it lol.

The way I look at the "easier to purchase a gun" line is that it really is. I mean if I want a gun I go down to the store get a background check and buy it. If I want a job I gotta look to find one that I want, because sometimes the job you want isn't available. Then you have to fill out an app. Get prepared for the interview. Go in and do the interview, while hoping that what your selling the company is buying. Then wait to find out, and then they can tell you no. As long as you can pass the background they won't tell you no.

I may be wrong, but I understand the buying guns line differently. I don't think he's talking about your rights. It's just that if you're underprivileged, and it's easier for you to buy a gun than find a job, you'll buy a gun and make your living in the streets. Idk makes sense to me somehow.

I am an old woman who doesn't listen to this style of music at all. I dont understand it for the most part. I do however, appreciate the embroidery, depth of topics and weaving of entandre and subtle messages into the lyrics and the video!... the unmasking/ take off the blinders/ see the truth/etc. I did spend 5 hours watching reaction videos and am heartened that people I have nothing in common with, agree with me on this. 'We the people' are not as far apart as the media and politicians are dividing us!. Im pretty sure the previous comment is about the common enemy being the proverbial 'Them'.
