We saw Here Come the Mummies for the first time at The Caverns in Tennessee on Halloween night and we became addicted immediately. We have seen them 5 times since in different locations and states. Hoping to catch them at the House of Blues in Cleveland this year.
OMG, - Saw these guys TODAY,......Amazing !!! Did a 3:00 PM show at a Fair, - The Big E ,....they blew the crowd away. They are incredible !!! I did not know anything about them before today,...tight funk band with a big sense of humor, only scratches the surface of what we saw today.
Yup, I was there both days, and I really hope they made enough of an impression to be asked back at a better time when there are more people to enjoy them!

I heard this crew on Bob and Tom, and, couldn't get that song out of my head. I thought it was a joke. These guy's are the real deal. Very funny, but SO GOOD. WOW.
Thanks for posting! This was awesome to watch. I've seen them live at least a couple dozen times... but, it's been a while. This was a great "fix" for this Mummette. :)
This was so amazing to watch! The crowd just stood there for awhile on the first song and then WHAMMO! The funk of these talented musicians/ lyricists grabbed them by the ankles and shook them up! Thanks for posting...next best thing to really being there!
these guys performed at a radio station not far from the place i live bob and tom show.. i am pretty sure i remmeber waking up and getting taken to school and one of their songs came on i wanna say pants but idk i just remmeber not fully getting what they were saying.. and also wondering why the radio hosts were laughing.... years down the road me and my friends devolope an on going joke saying "helpp the wiener man is gunna get me" or random things like that to strangers we drove by.. now a few years after that i found atack of the weiner man and currently i am now realizeing these were the same guys i heard on the radio all those years ago... my friend recorded an absulutly terrable song called "wiener man dan and the wiener man clan" idk just some random shit that was kinda born from these guys so had to share it!!
You're probably right. That's not his Vistalite kit in the first place, which I neglected to think about when I commented. The Vistalite kit is the one with the custom head.
They should be sued for copyright infringement - Here Come the Mummies stole their attire from the "{REAL)" Mummies, an SF punk band who originated in 1980
these are the REAL mummies. The line up changes based on who is touring with their contracted Nashville headliner since they are all Nashville contracted backup musicians. Have seen them twice live, several times on Bob & Tom and there is always some different members.
Let me reiterate The Mummies are a Bay Area Punk Band that originated in 1988 and have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Nashville Period! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mummies Here Come the Mummies are a Nashville based funk band that started in 2002 - 14 years after the Mummies who are still the best band you can wipe your ass with!
It’s physically impossible not to be smiling when seeing this group live!
Just seeing HCTM on video has got me smiling and addicted- Ra Ra Ra!!❣
Saw them a year ago in Columbus, Ohio. What an amazing time! They are the BEST!
Check out the set at night in 2018. It's really exciting! ua-cam.com/video/xDj41fS1RV0/v-deo.html

cracking venue to see them at. I will see them play in a barn in Iowa tonight.
I don't think that audience had any idea the brilliance of what they were present for.

Where did Eddie's custom HCTM kick drum head go?
Not sure. They might have backlined the drums for several bands that day.

Sax player is puttin it on those gray haired people! lol
These guys are sick musicians. The shitty part is that if they did not have the mummy crap on..no one would pay attention.
You need to re-examine your life.
