i seem to have trouble with a few points mentioned in the video, not because i dont agree with them personally but because some are objetively wrong. Changing your HDMI cable to a DP wont make a difference AS LONG AS you were running the right HMDI cable, in addition to the right hardware in the first place. Its important to check what version of HDMI your GPU and Monitor support to make the call you made. Saying that DP will "feel better" is simply, im sorry to say but, bullshit. HDMI can easily do 240Hz - a quick websearch shows that HDMI 2.0 already supports up to 18Gbps (Gigabytes per second). What does that mean some of you might ask? In the end it all comes down to the supported transferrates of the cables and hardware in comparison to the transferrates needed to run 240hz on 1080p for example. Heres how to calculate that for all the geeks that want to doublecheck my statement... Transferrate = Amount of Pixels (in this case 1920*1080) * Bitdepth (usually 24bit) * refreshrate (240hz for this scenario) Transferrate = 11.934.720.000 bit/second = 11,935 Gbps -> HDMI 2.0 can easily do 1080p 240Hz and changing to a DP cable wont make a difference because the transferrate isnt close to choking while sitting at around 2 thirds of max capacity... Your explanation for FPS was absolutely correctly, yet the one for Hz wasnt quite. Hz isnt the refreshrate per second, the unit Hertz describes [X] per second, meaning Hertz is the refreshrate itself. 60Hz panels refresh 60 times per second. Regarding the monitorsettings, i agree with the finetuning of your panel being super important, what i dont agree with is you saying "instantly go on youtube and find the best settings" - instead of telling us to go watch a different video, you couldve explained why panelsettings are important and what settings might be more important then others. None of us understood what settings are actually important. What happened instead is, most of the people watching your video really just searched up "best monitor settings for [monitor]" and copied the settings without any clue about what they are doing and if the settings are going to improve or even ruin the quality or colors.... Sure the other guy might explain that in his video, but you dont know and that is exactly my point. Everybody has different eyes and eyestrengths, there just isnt something like "the best setting" for monitors. I'd wish you would go more into detail with that and try to teach your community something they could really benefit from. I also got something to add to the very right calls you had about RAM. As a rule of thumb, you are better of getting RAM with lower timings (lower cl number) - that does NOT mean that you should get 2666mhz CL14 rather then 3600mhz CL18 for example. So instead of saying "when buying ram make sure the cl number is as low as possible" you should again go more into detail and explain the people what you are even saying... you did a great job briefly explaining what the latencies mean and why lower latencies are generally said more optimal, but you forgott about the other half of the generally important information - NOT GOOD! If you want to give tips when it comes to buying sticks of ram, not ramsticks, then do it right please... Yeah this is a very long text and some portions of it might seem a bit harsh, please excuse me for that. All in all this was a great video with good information broken into smaller chunks.
i always find myself having one side of my headphones off my ear, idk why but having that ear open so i can hear my keyboard and voice makes me play so much better.
The HyperX Cloud II's are mediocre overall for $80. I'd recommend going for Koss Ksc75's for on-ears or Truthear Hola's for in-ears. Ksc75's dont dampen any external noise whatsoever, feel very light and comfortable, and also have very impressive imaging allowing you to easily locate the direction of enemies. With either of these, i'd go for a Razer Sieren Mini as the mic which will add up to $60 being infinitly better than Cloud II's for the price.

artisan mouse pads arent expensive if u buy directly from them, you just have to wait a while for shipping but if u want one quicker then buying it from a third party retailer would be almost double the price
If you are going to buy a 60he now, wait for the 80he to launch in around a month because it has 0.125ms delay (8k polling) or just wait until they launch a 60he with 8k polling if you want a 60% one.
if you would rather a headset than headphones + usb mic i'd recommend the pc37x or pc38x (same microphone but in my experience 38x sounds a bit bassier and a tad better, for the price i'd go with the 37x's). or if you really want to get your moneys worth for quality, I'd suggest getting a GOOD pair of IEM's paired with a decent usb mic such as the at 2020 (crazy sale atm). stay away from cheap brands that's for certain
