looking like a beast dude!!!! I have some great resistance bands :) someone bought them for me when I turned 40 lol. Love the scientific explanation :) very interesting. I'm expecting big things from you next time we train dude lol. Loved seeing you in pain btw ha ha. To be fair it does look pretty tough man, well done. eeeermmmm, 14:38, the book, 8000 awesome things you should know!!!!!! I WANT IT lol I think this video will benefit a lot of people dude, FANTASTIC job.
Hahaha thanks mate, I didn't realise how bad my face pulling was until I watched it back 🤣🤦♂️ Yeah the bands are awesome, I've bought them for so many people now! That book should now be 8001 awesome things now I have an extra use for it! I've been really happy with the results, if anyone else can benefit from it too that would be amazing!
Amazing - thanks for posting this. Confirms a lot of what I'm doing already thanks to the covid environment. Hope it's getting better for you all in the UK
What can one say....it's so professional Luke you put me to shame LOL....this is such a good and well thought out workout routine. I can easily do these here at my place. One thing I've been doing lately that has helped me gain strength back after being sick with covid. One burning question....what is kept in the fridge in the Conservatory ? Inquiring minds & all LOL
Sorry I missed this Kev, I miss some comments when I get lot coming though on the more popular ones. I keep tweaking the routine a little bit each week, but I'm pretty happy with the plan at the moment. Even Sadie is doing a less intense version of it! Haha, the big fridge is our bulk frdge freezer. All the stuff we don't need on a day to day basis, as the daily stuff is kept in the kitchen. It used to be full of beer, wine and ice cream... but we're marginally healthier these days! 🤣
@@LukeSherran ok I have a deep freeze back in my laundry room with the washer/dryer ! I have two turkeys back there to fix....I buy 3 or 4 at Thanksgiving time when the price drops from $2 a lb to this year it was 58¢ a lb so saved about $10 on each bird and can roast them one every 3 or 4 months and have turkey sandwiches all year. Deep freezes great bulk buying and saving moneyu...mine is the old family one and is still working after 45 years !!!
@@miamidolphinsfan sounds awesome. My grand parents used to have a huge chest freezer for the same reasons. Always wanted one of my own. Feels like it could be useful to hide a body in too if needed........... jokes! 🤣
@@LukeSherran LOLOLOL shhhhhhh don't tell no one but.......LOL !!!! But yeah I can always buy in bulk and save money...like ice cream I can buy a gallon of vanilla for my protein powder milk shakes (so good with ice cream and a little milk) or buy whole turkeys or rotiesserie chickens, etc...save a lot. Luke its worth it it saves a lot ! And thats really important for me these days & being financially strapped (still waiting for my stimulus money....supposedly going to be here by May 20th !!!)
This is good stuff. Sound principles, good intensity and progressive overload. Nice bonus with the spreadsheet too. This definitely deserves more eyes on it. My only comment is that it would be good to vary some of the exercises if you're doing this 3x a week. So have an A workout and a B workout. But if it's working for you then keep at it
Great video mate ! I've just watched it while doing my own home workout ! As I was thinking of changing my current plan I think I will adopt the 4120 and drop the sets slightly. I even tried this on my last 2 sets and felt a really different sensation in my muscles! Keep up the effort, great inspiration for anyone struggling at home !
Awesome mate, thank you! Yeah the tempo makes a big difference, your muscles feel wiped out afterwards which is a nice feeling when you haven't been to the gym in nearly a year!
Thanks mate, I really appreciate it. I normally use 12.5-15kg if I'm doing preacher curls, and 15-17.5kg if I'm standing. You want to pick a weight that you can control with good form, but is challenging enough so you start to reach failure between 8-12 reps
I agree with Matt on this one some of those faces were ugly haha but just be careful with doing a lot of banded exercises as it can wreak havoc on your elbows Luke MINT
Hahaha thanks mate. Good point regarding the bands, however the low volume of the exercises means overall it's a lot easier on the joints! How is your cut going??

Awesome, let me know if you try it!
This is awesome! Definitely alot of work put into this and will help alot of people! Looking strong mate 💪👌

Nice
What kg are the dumbbells you used for biceps? Love your vids.
