The point about uploads or lack thereof is so true. Channels like Oversimplified for example can take half a year if not more to make a video yet still remain popular with high viewership. This is because each of their videos is better than the last and thus worth waiting for. I only watched Dream for the good content: The Manhunts.

Sunny's point about not working on content everyday is literally just projection on his part. Because his audience is used to the quick, surface level slop that he pushes out, he assumes that everyone else making videos has to be on the grind every single day as well. But this has been proven to be false by numerous creators large and small, such as CoryxKenshin (just look at his multi-month breaks and people still flock to his content in droves), Markiplier in certain cases, and so on and so forth.
Like, no, you won't atrophy if you don't work on content or upload every day. You'll atrophy if you don't produce good content in a niche that goes through peaks and valleys (like a lot of games do), or good content in general.
Ngl, this video kinda sucks, he completely ignored the fact that Dream couldn't do the irl content and collabs he wabted to do bc of the fake alegations, and he couldn't do the Minecraft server he was working on bc of quackity fans atacking him saying he was copying QSMP, so really there was just a bunch of shit being thrown at him non-stop, whenever things get resolved some other thing is put on his plate, there's really no room for him to do stuff without drama
A lot of Sunny's videos suck to be fair. His "content" is just surface level recountings of events and nothing more than that.
All of Sunny's video's do. It's bare minimum sensationalist slop. Hopefully people will stop watching it one day it's so lazy.

You made a good point, comparing recent videos with videos like the namhunts just isn't realistic. Everyone and their mother were waiting for those videos to be released. It's like comparing tv show success of The Big Bang Theory, written mainly by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, and comparing it to the success of his first show Frannie's Turn, which only ran for 5 weeks. Just because it has the same writer, Chuck Lorre, doesn't mean its gonna be a huge success.

Tommyinit wasn't the one who was making fun of the Vanoss crew, It was either George or someone else who was actually poking fun at them and Tommy was just in on the jokes, but currently this year Dream, George, and Wilbur have committed crimes and become terrible people, and it left Tommy with a slap to the face along with actual genitalia surgery (idk if that's how you say it), so yeah not Tommy's greatest year so far.
I also want to say that I'm not defending Tommyinit, I'm just pointing out the karma he's gotten ever since that moment.

as someone who usually watched dream, i feel like the only choice he can make right now is drastically rebrand his channel from minecraft to something else like another game. personally, consistently playing minecraft as a career won’t last that long. it happened before with other minecraft youtubers before dream but i digress. he needs to absolutely redeem himself considering the image and reputation he has, it’s risky but he needs to find a way to stop getting himself into hot water. i don’t know but that’s what i think.
