That was a great restore project. Barry sounded so excited on the phone talking with you. Something you didn't show was the look on Barry's kids faces when you asked them if they wanted to ride in the car. You are doing great things with these old hot rod finds.
This is the channel that got me into old hot rods. Loved the build on this one! Would love to own something like this ‘34 as one can’t just own old Land Rovers!
Great Video of this 34. Such a nice old hot rod. Glad you were able to save it and put it back on the road. My grandparents had a 33 sedan about the same color when I was kid. My grandmother and sister loved taking sedan while my grandpa and I would take his 33 pickup to shows all the time. Then my grandma would take the sedan for running errands during the summer. Was just a really great car. Still got the pickup, but sold the sedan made them an offer to good to pass up.
Happy New Year!!!! IronTrap Garage bringing forgotten Hot Rods and their families together. Who said history class sucked. Not with IronTrap. Best of everything in the year to come. My wife and I are looking forward to all the great projects.
Great work Matt, once a project nears completion you start to forget all the small milestone moments and set backs that come with the journey 👍👍👍 You’ve done a great job saving another old hot rod.
Hay Matt sure wish you would do a vid on maintaining the paint with so many wax and shine products out there would be nice to do a vid on the ones you like or would recommend thanks
Love the car, all the build video, I don't understand why you choose to retain the whitewalls with the mags?? IMHO it would look so much better with black wall tires. Is it part of the fashion of the 50's-60's hot rods? I don't recall that.. Happy New Year.
How cool is that ?? Funny how UA-cam algorithm works over the holidays. I had opportunity to watch so many old episodes. I mean years back episodes. You guys have traveled so far together. It's a treat to have you two entertain us all with your adventures. Happy New Year to you both. Thank you so much for all you do, and God bless you both, in all your endeavors, with family and friends. 2021, here we go. So many more details and projects to come. We are the lucky ones. Your work pays dividends that luck just can't compromise. Man .. keep on keeping on, fellas' !!!
Full respect Matt..its such an awesum machine...and with tradition being brought into a contemporary light...theres a beautiful simplicity to it...by far one of my favourites.
Fantastic job Matt!! Loved seeing the progression from you first bringing it home. What you have accomplished in a short amount of time is astounding. I see the beginnings of your first book? Happy 2021!!
It was awesome to see this car come back to life. As well as all the others. You guys do great work. I tell my car buddies to watch your channel all the time. Thanks for giving us something to enjoy
Just a FANTASTIC wrap up for a year that really sucked! Thank you Matt, I hope you and Mike have a good new year with lots of “adventures”. I am really looking forward to see what you do with your shop. You really are an inspiration. Jack
Hi Matt and family , I have followed the car from the first vid and I drool every time I see it , you are so lucky to find such an awesome car, and to improve its stance and bring back the shine makes it . Happy new year from My family to yours from New Zealand . Cheers .
If this is what you love to do and how you love to do it you were on the right track to start with. I think most of us will agree we got lucky enough to be on track with you guys.

A rerun? That's ok! Surely worth seeing again. There can never be too much altruism in this world. You summed up the whole project nicely! More of the '39 Ford would in 2021, please!
Have watched all the vids and have to say this series was in the top 5. Looking forward to the projects coming up and the unknown projects yet to come. Hope 2021 is filled with lost treasures, barn finds, auction action, more swap meets, viewer mail and 2021 $21 dollar challenge 😀. Thank you to the Gang at ITG for the Quality, Entertaining channel.

It’s such a great old car and from the dash to suspension and interior you guys did a great job of bringing her back and respecting her past. The history adds a lot to the car as well and it’s disappointing that Barry didn’t get to see it but bringing his family over for a ride was cool. Thanks for taking us along for the ride, I watched all the videos on this car and you did a really outstanding job on this compilation as well. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Hey Matt. I want to thank you for a very entertaining UA-cam channel and all the best to you, Kate, Mike & Moon and to everyone else in the upcoming decade.
Barry didnt sound that old he had a bit of a cough, i hope it wasn't this dreadful disease that got him, though i guess it's a moot point, sounds like a cool guy shame he didn't see the car RIP Barry
That was a great restore project. Barry sounded so excited on the phone talking with you. Something you didn't show was the look on Barry's kids faces when you asked them if they wanted to ride in the car.

This is the channel that got me into old hot rods. Loved the build on this one! Would love to own something like this ‘34 as one can’t just own old Land Rovers!
Really well done Matt. You did the car right and honored its history as well as Barry nicely.

Because it’s the way the car was built back in the 60’s.
Hello my name is Matt and I have a crippling addiction... Hi Matt, can we join you?😎
Do you guys run non ethanol fuel over there? I find these older cars dont like running on moonshine.
What did you use to get rust off the chrome exhaust?
Fine Steel wool and chrome cleaner
