Our behavior and how we treat our enemies will compell others to be curious about our faith, I can give an example which happened in my college life, one of my classmates came to me and said " You are trustworthy and reliable person, people can share their personal secrets with you and be assured that they're safe, I have been observing you since last 4 years there is none like you." she said. I'm thankful to God for giving me such testimony, I never expected that 🙏✝️😇🙌🙌🙌🙌
Something I think may be compelling for outsiders, regarding my life, is that God has blessed me with an encouraging spirit within me so despite whatever is going on at work I am able to keep a joyful attitude. Other coworkers are usually confused by my constant cheery attitude, even when I have to work unexpected overtime or something like that, because they are used to people complaining and creating unnecessary drama in the workplace. In God's Word, He tells us to avoid foolish talk and remember that our joy and peace are rooted in Him. Whenever people ask me why I'm so cheerful, that creates an opportunity to spread the Word not just with words alone but through living it out as well. I pray this blesses someone's spirit, God bless!
Sovereign God, help me to live in a way that will drive others to Jesus. Help me to love my enemies and pray for those who are against me. Give me a heart of compassion and understanding. Give me strength to forgive others A heart that puts the needs of others ahead of my own. A heart that yearns for the salvation of the lost. Give me wisdom to recognize the truth. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I will speak words that will encourage and comfort others. Please continue to mold me into the man You created me to be. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
One way is to kind and loving with fellow believers. Also, let us encourage those who need help in time of need. Knowing the Word and letting His Spirit minister His Word through His own is most powerful.
I think its very compelling to live our lives in a way that doesn't involve much of the world's ideas of pleasure, entertainment, and overall the way we treat others and speak as well. Glory be to God for his kindness!
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. The last two years have been hellish with housing uncertainty, diagnosis of 2 Cataracts in March, 2021. Skin cancer surgery in September, covid end of Dec. and diagnosed long covid in March. Thanks to my Jesus fear of death it’s not one of my concerns. I was brought back from the dead in Stony Brook Hospital and when I woke in CICU, I was told that they shouldn’t have been able to resuscitate me, period. Love your neighbors as yourself. Share the gospel and if you have to use words, go ahead.
Holy God, I ask You to teach me wisdom. Through the circumstances of my life, help me to see my path and understand how I can best learn from my experiences. Help me to gain wisdom so that I might better serve You. Amen.🙋🙏🙌💜
I feel that I am just as flawed as the next guy 👦 maybe even more so, but there is still hope 🙏 ❤ 🙂 I do know I try to mind my own business notice I said try and I will give it some more attention. Thank you for sharing.
I share home baked goodies with my local community throughout the year. I have been blessed so much by God and want this to be “seen” where ever I go. Thank you and God bless
Trust the Process. Remain steadfast and trust that God hears ALL Prayers and is working it out for you. There is TRUTH in the statement "He IS an ON Time God", you just have to trust the process and know that He IS faithful and therefore mountains high valleys low - you MUST remain Faithful. He is Preparing You for that Blessing and Favor. Be ready to walk in it when it comes.
My wife and I were recently "caught" praying out loud (not too loud) for a meal we were about to eat in a restaurant. A fellow believer came over, apologized for any intrusion, then said she was encouraged by seeing our expression of faith.
Thank you for the wonderful sharing of insights, Mr. Cox. When I have the time and resource, sometimes I cook extra and share with acquaintances, students, or whoever in need of it. It may not be much, but I believe it builds a bridge and create a bond of friendship. God bless you 🙏🎉
I am a practicing chiropractic doctor of 35 plus years. I humbled to say it's taken me this long to implement some heartfelt practices: saying thank you as often as possible and even for the smallest of actions, applying this to my coworkers and our daily schedule of patients. Everyone wants to be noticed. Say hello and good morning to that person at the grocery store, at the gas station as you're guided through the day. Say 'thanks for your help', have a blessed day. Say it the person serving you at the deli counter at the checkout register. Say it to the customer service agent on the phone. After 'every' patient encounter I say 'you did great today'. Now the list of my repelling actions would take up too much space. You know what The Book says ' He who began a good work in you' ...
Being excited to serve God in ministry, missions, volunteering, with a church, or with other friend believers can help nonbelievers to see how our faith is something that is alive that we can water and they can see grow and blossom with God's blessings. Nonbelievers may become interested in learning more about what motivates us to do the work or service we do and why it brings us joy which could bring nonbelievers to Jesus.
To continue to serve the Lord and go to church, even in difficult times. Work hard wherever God has placed us. Great message, gave a new perspective from the Word, was very helpful, thank you!
I'm always about my business. I'm a single black woman still holding on to our family house 🏠. I'm constantly trying to improve it the best I can until I qualify for the City Home Improvement Program. My neighbors have seen my struggles God always provides whom I need and what I need.
After studying this verse at church, it was weighing heavy on my heart to truly understand how to live a quiet life, mind my own business and work hard. Thank you for your explanation and encouragement. I pray my Lord will give me the strength and perseverance to live a life that will make Him proud.
Hi Marquise: Thanks for asking for input, may you get surprises. One thing I would include with Paul's advice, which was implied, I'm sure, would be integrity. Wrapping all of those things in a package looks rather compelling; however, many won't ask because they know what is in the package. It will still make them think though. Keep up the good work.
I’ve been meditating on this. And really Going after what it means. It’s complete repentance from a life that urges me to worry and aim for a luxurious lifestyle every day. When life can be lived in modesty, decency and in the provision of God. I think of the rich young ruler who walked away sad. There is a letting go of what we think life should be. Jesus is showing me He came to heal, he came to save and deliver, He came that we would life to the full and it isn’t luxury life’s fullness is in Jesus. in His power, His healing and His blessing. We don’t see the quiet Christians doing the amazing work of God all over the world. We don’t see the families, orphanages, hospitals, towns, villages, schools. We just don’t see it.
I think the leading a quiet life part of our lives as Christians compels unbeliever to our lifestyles. In this time of trends and popularity repelling such becomes compelling to others. Everybody wonders how you do it and they are immediately curious.
I pray for my enemies, but I also avoid having to interact with them if possible. I’d rather not have to give them reason to attack me again. Cowardly I guess?
Non believers appear to notice when Christians are actually following the Bible but in a loving way. I've met people who have only seen the judgemental fundamentalist side of Christianity. Now when nonbelievers see Christians showing kindness, and not judging the sins of others, they start thinking "ok, this guy is not like those other Christians." You can still be biblical on controversial issues like sex and gender, but not in a judgemental way.
I would say a little bit of both but mostly compelling as I’ve lately had a few ppl ask me on social media what church do I attend after making post on my church notes. Then over the weekend went to a local church women’s conference and a friend asked about it as well as a friend was so interested that she went with me because she doesn’t attend church on a regular but wanted to go to the conference 🤍
The way we treat others and the way we want to be treated

Giving of ourselves to help the less fortunate- whether in time, money, talents. There are so many ways to serve and unbelievers will see that.
