Another tip for copying position quick is just hold shift and parent text layer to null with pick whip, text layer will move to exact same position of null, after that just unparent text layer and there you go
I had a shot, which i couldn't track in mocha, but boujou has done a great solve

I can't select my three layers with shift as you are doing here. I use Mac and I've been searching on the Internet but I found nothing. Could anyone help me please? Thanks in advance and great tutorial :D

I’ll give you a quick tip on after effects: are you have to do is click wants where it says “position” then use the copy shortcut (ctr+c/cmd+c) then click on your text later (don’t even need to open the position properties layers) and do the paste shortcut. That way you don’t have to copy the X Y & Z values separately and tediously.

@@neail5466 There is a camera in the scene, so when you check the '3D Layer' option on the text it will work without parenting

I have After Effects CS6, how could I do something like this but without the 3D camera solve? I have my trackings but I really don't know how to put them together in AE since my version doesn't have 3D camera solve... Any tip? Thanks in advance!!!!

at 3:05, how exactly do you "Stop" the process without canceling the track that has happened so far? Did you press escape or spacebar or click on the stop button? Can you let us know everything you are doing, please? Thanks!
You can stop the track with either spacebar or just pressing the stop button in the track controls.
Everything you have tracked is not cancelled, it's just stopped and you can continue tracking at any time.
How do you adjust the pink planar grid in 3D to fit the background footage as you do at around 3:25. And is this an important step. thanks

Hey there, I have Mocha AE V4 with Adobe After Effects CC 2015. I can't find the camera solve tab. Do you know how I can alternatively open that tab, or is it locked out of my version of After Effects?
+MythosGreer You need Mocha pro. Mocha for AE that ships with AE only has planar tracking. All other modules, including 3d tracking are Mocha Pro exclusives.

its a good tutorial but you should point out that you are using minimum pixels of 90% rather than the default 20% perhaps
Mocha is a really good tracking software, you guys should improve it more so that it produces 3d track points like the ones in Aftereffects or nuke or others,
That might not be possible Mocha is planar tracker and not a feature tracker.

Could you rename the title from Mocha V3 to Mocha Pro, please? Camera solver is not available in the standard version which I have only noticed once I got through 5 layers of tracking...
Done. Back when this tutorial was created, there was no Mocha Pro, it was just called Mocha. You're also 100% right, Mocha AE has more limited functionality and does not contain any of the pro modules like Camera Solver. Hope you find a good solution to your shot. Remember you can download a trial version of Mocha Pro if you want to test it out.

Mocha is a lot more complicated than the built in camera tracker..
They never say or mention export to 3ds max 😁 like they hate them alot.. No video on you tube linking mocca to 3ds max 🤣
