That is one hell of a cool and handy setup. Thanks for the breakdown. Just watched your video on your snobby and asked about the board and then found this. Nate
Thanks a bunch! I think, Although there are definitely quite a few less expensive options out there Juggernaugts’ is definitely the most refined. Even compared to the S&S HALO board or their Phone board which all look “DIY” which is Fine but if you dont care, then why not just make one yourself.
No complaints with the Defiant Hoodie. Again, I cant stress this enough, dont be afraid of washing it too much - the opposite is what will expidite Its break down
I was an Army reservist, so hardly anything noteworthy- I’m just a regular dude who has been fortunate enough to have been able to get companies to send me gear to test and use and I make these videos in hopes that it will help someone :)
If you check out the video before this one, I breakdown all the mods and components that make up this load out with links to each of the websites they can be acquired from. Hope this helps :)
I've been looking for something like this for years, I have every HPG kit bag except the rescue. Thank you so much for putting this vid together..now the big question...where can I buy a juggernaut platform?
The NAVboard is designed for HAHO/HALO ops, and can be removed very easily with one hand. This configuration has been in use in one way or another by military proffesionals at least since the early part of the GWOT and while im not one, i certainly cant speak to that but obviously it works well enough to replicate across several brands like SS Prcision, KAGwerks to name but a few. As for me, it is a great way to keep gear i would orherwise have in various pockets accessible without too much hastle and i dont expect to be haveing in prone or at least do so without taking the time to revmove it of my rig.
That is a fair and valid point. However, this has been a “combat-tested” Set up across multiple manufactuers and i would think that if this posted a real threat of damage to the functionality of the equipment that our warfighters depend on to stay alive and Charlie Mike i would have to pessume that we would start seeing this done another way. This is ofcourse just my own personal opinion as a recreational/SAR user
@@BlackFlagSummitClub Yeah, I’m not arguing that, really. My experience in the Marines was to protect those items at all costs. We kept pouches closed and used dummy cords. So I guess it’s just that I have a different perspective from that training. I think it’s safe to say we’re both right.
@@Swiat34 your point of view is certainly a valid one i admit, but if i had to hazard a guess on the rationale behind this design, is that the “cool guys” who originally came up with the NAV board concept in the early days of GWOT were prioritizing ease of use and access over preventing the inevitable scuffs and scratches to the GPS/Compass Screens the latter of which those civi-side would be more concerned about having paid out of pocket for “gucci” kit rather than similar stuff you can find at REI that would be just as useful (if not more practical/affordable) for recreational/Backcountry use. 🙂
@@BlackFlagSummitClub Right! See, the “cool guys” get a lot more of Uncle Sam’s money. In the Marines we had to treat our gear like it was personal gear cuz we might not get a replacement for a while; not until the Army upgraded their shit. 😂
ciao, grazie per aver guardato il nostro video sulla Juggernaut NAVboard: puoi acquistarlo così come tutti gli altri componenti sul loro sito web, Juggernaugtcase.com
Real good video man. I just got a juggernaut phone case for my 22 Ultra. I love the case. The board you're running looks legit too. Hiw does it hold up in bad weather ?
Thanks so much! Im glad you found some value in it. i address this in my video about the IMPCT case; basically Although Its not water proof, as my iPhone 13pro is somewhat water proof already so i wasnt a huge concern. That said I do have a rain cover for my chest pack and while i havent used it under a downpour yet i did have it during snowfall hike and it was just fine. If youre talking about the NAV board, i would not be worries about it at all as the Foretrex 401 is a work horse and the Suunto compass is a dive compass so i know it is water proof
@@JamesLCunningham0911 i would assume the below freezing temps would be much more of a concern and i dont really have any “usage” feedback under those conditions at this point unfortunatly
Nothing gucci, just a BFUV5R - I primarily just use it for inter team comms. And as SHTF radio. There are obviously much better radios out there, that offer encryption, reliable waterproofness - the options are endless if you’ve got the cash and the need. But this does everything I need it to and at $30 a piece and nearly unlimited aftermarket accessories …it’s tough to beat. Check out @Disco_32 and@Mojave.repeater on Instagram to see some examples of what I mean.

Glad you found this video helpful in some way. If you have any specific questions that I didn’t cover, please feel free to ask :)
I wish they made cases for more phones and that they weren't a $400 setup...
Depending on the phone; I’ve seen used IMPCT cases with the PALs mount for sale on the various gear pages on FB for around $100
Dark Vault cases might interest you
Another great video good information what a cool set up I’m gonna wind up getting me a juggernaut

Subscribed! Detailed overview, excellent. Thank you Sir.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate your support 🙏
That's really nice setup!
Yes I love it!
That is a great set-up, mate. I would use it as a navigation board for sure. How's the Defiant Hoody holding up?
No complaints with the Defiant Hoodie. Again, I cant stress this enough, dont be afraid of washing it too much - the opposite is what will expidite Its break down
I can’t tell if you’re former military or if you’re just really inspired by photos of Navy SEALS in the Hindu Kush.

Great video! Nice setup! 👍
What size pals webbing did you pick.
What's up man. The set up is incredible. How much did you pay for each item. Do they make it for a Galaxy .

Yes, Juggernaut does make a case for several Samsung Galaxy models but you’ll have to see if they make one for your particular device.
IDK Why but I expected a mini map case like a battle board.

I’m glad you found some value in this 🙂 as for the Juggernaugt products you can purchase them directly from them:

Great business model. Go prone, smash all your equipment, buy it all again.

What type of radio are you using? My brain is saying UV5-R, but I haven’t seen one in green before.
Yes, UV5R From @fengbros on Instagram
They're products are cool but pissed me off that they make a case for note 20+ but not note 10+.
Do you like the hill people gear kit bag
It is still one of my favourite pieces of kit!
Does all the other components effect compass accuracy? Seems like it would
Not in the down position that I’ve noticed
I don’t care for it having everything exposed to the front though. I’d much prefer a bottom hinge and have it conceal/pretext the nav equipment.
