- We get our FIRST LOOK at the bike mode of Walmart Exclusive Transformers Legacy United Star Raiders Deluxe Class Road Pig and see that the Crash Bar mold was always going to be Road Pig from Day 1

Really hoping they get around to some version(s) of Sideways down the line. I was especially fond of the Armada and Cybertron versions

Well next year for Walmart is Galaxy Force/Cybertron and their is a Sideways. But I can see Animated Prowl’s mold used for an Armada one. The handle bars can pivot to the sides of the head sculpt on that mold
I think Crash Bar should have been used to make Star Seeker/ Raider Axer. Bike mode of Crash Bar looks more like Action Master Axer's turbo cycle (just elongate the front mud guard and smooth off the spikes, along with removing the 4 prongs on the rear bike boot) and I think the robot mode looks simliar enough to work as well with a new Axer head and maybe re-tooled chest. Then you can add the Lockdown sidecar, which again resembles the Action Masters turbo cycle sidecar.

Broooo, I am SO upset that I’ve lost this one!
I was hoping they would have at least retooled the "head" of the bike (and maybe the shoulders). Everything else seems to be a pretty decent fit. They could have planned a shield accessory that gives the iconic front and windshield of that bike mode. Guess it will be up to third party, if anyone bothers with a character like this.
Edit: After testing with my copy of Crashbar, if you leave the front of the bike flipped up, the port on the bottom of that foot would work great for a Harley-inspired front end to plug onto, that could second as a shield for bot mode.
This is going to be cool.
Hopefully a third party company would do classic front for road pig. Would like to see a traditional version to the classic…
I’m hoping this isn’t the final product because it really needs the Harley front headlights.
They can claim “budget” all they want but I know it’s them being lazy
Kinda wished Road Rocket was a repaint of Prowl or a pretool for Armada Universe Sideways, but what we got was pretty swell :D
I think a new RoadRocket from Prowl would be cool cuz then both RoadRockets could be separate characters. LGY Velocitron RoadRocket is a girl, while a new one could be a boy who could maybe be the girl RoadRocket's brother. Maybe one of them could have a new name (official new name or fan-name). What would one of their new names be?
Ik this sounds kinda dumb, but what about Roadburst as one of them?

Kinda bummed by this as I was really hoping Roadpig was a new mold. I wanted a fat boy.
I ordered a legacy evolution prowl to kitbash a roadpig. That junkion mold was in my opinion a bad choice.

thought the community terms were redeco for plastic colour changes and retool for mold changes, repaints are literally if they only change the paint apps
I think Crashbar should've been more Road pig... the new guy shouldn't take away from the Legacy character. Road pig is a nobody, but now all the repaints will suck

Would've been nice if he had more retooling, but I think, from what we can see here, Roadpig looks pretty good. Idk if I'll get him.
Also, Laser Cycle isn't Jazz, they're a separate character, of which I think should be non-binary cuz the original _was_ Jazz who is a guy ofc, while the new LGY one is using the Legarcee mold, which has been used for, at this point, only fembots. I think it'd just fit. I kinda want to give them a new name, tho, but can't think of anything.
Thats such a lazy repaint. He should have at least had a new windscreen / front end

Not "lazy" per-se, but yea, a new front-end/windscreen would've been nice. I think, without it, hes pretty good, from what we can see here, anyway.
Edit: Upgrade kits will come in clutch, for those who buy them; I'm sure of it

here's what i dont get. assuming this mold was planned from the beginning to "also" be Road Pig. and Crashbar is an entirely new character, why not lean more into Road Pig's design elements? get him a bit more faithful to the original toy/character and then design the Junkion OC around that instead?
also, whoever's decision it was to keep Road Pig and Thundertron secret until the release date, after revealing the rest of the line needs to be fired and blacklisted from the industry. this is not good marketing. you're not generating extra hype. you're not generating more foot traffic into walmart. you're just pissing people off.
