Excellent advice. Our local brewery supplies our Allotments with Hop husks foc. I use them as ground cover to suppress the weeds, plus it mulches well when dug in.

Tip for any of your subscribers with rotavators.
Assuming it is tucked up in the garage or shed for the winter.
    Drain the fuel tank.
This prevents a sludge developing which clogs the fuel flow to the carburettor and prevents it starting.
Unleaded only last 30 days before it starts to decay.
The super unleaded lasts about 3 months.
A specialist fuel will last about a year.
You can get additives to make it last longer.
    Check the oil before use.
Ensure the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick.
I learnt the hard way mine would not start after the winter and it was sludge in the fuel.
Apologies if you have already covered this.
