Oldschool Death metal from Sweden!
Sorcery was founded in 1986 when guitarist Paul Johansson, bassist Magnus Karlsson-Mård and vocalist Ola Malmström joined forces with guitarist Fredrik Nygren and his drummer cousin Patrik Johansson. This lineup released their first demo, "The Arrival", in 1987. After some line-up changes the band recorded their second demo, "Ancient Creation", which was released in the spring of 1988. In August 1989 the band recorded "Unholy Crusade" which was the third demo.
Recorded at Ross Rec. 19/20-08-1989.

To me it's more intense and heavy than the newer bands i saw cannibal corpse with hate eternal a couple few years ago and there was a new style death metal band and they just seemed like they were trying so hard and the sound coming out was weak compared to hate internal amd every one else there that night. I think it might be all the added technology... it doesn't have a brutal sound

nice oldie release. nowdays mastering is desteoying good deathmetal Allover. theres allmost none 0 budjet dm bands with crappy recorders, just making music for the people, for the scene. Maybe theres no more good dm scenes anywhere. ppl should use more drugs or drink more legal drugs, what would drain the money out of recording and mastering + would be better and rougher self impression from vocalists. just my opinion.
