As promised the MiG-29 video is here! I tried to best to hold off the swarm of F-16s and F-14s and it was a fight. This aircraft has amazing power, handles like a dream, and has very capable firepower that keeps changing in patches. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

Merry Christmas to this amazing community! I hope you all have the best holiday possible!
Thanks bo !🥳🥳
Thanks bo 🤍🤍
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Bo
Also did you know the mig 29's air intakes are covered when in hanger or on the airfield
Can I just say, the TBLF is one of the most entertaining groups I've ever seen! There's something about every video I watch on them that has me laughing and in tears! 🤣😂
Agreed and due to my low blood pressure Ive even fainted a few times at there antics.
Nimbuzzi
I think the missiles know where they are, I'm so proud of Stick for explaining the complexity of missile lore
It was a funny explanation 😂
Fun fact: PhlyDaily long ago did something about that a long time ago. Then a parody song came and he got a strike though he came up with it 1st
@@cabooset the original text was written in 1997 and has been a copypasta spread around since as early as 2003
The missile knows where it is at all yimes
@@squab23 “by subtracting where it is from where it isn’t, or where it isn’t from where it is (whichever is greater)…”
God help you if the area where the missile IS is greater than where it isn’t
“The missle knows where it is at all times, it knows this because it knows where it isn’t”
"By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater) it obtains a difference or deviation"
In the event that the missle isn’t where it wasn’t it has found a variation
@@n1thecaptain965 God help you if the area where the missile IS is greater than where it isn’t
@@Heating56 I know this is a joke, but technically, the missile only gets a limited amount of information, for all the missile cares, the only places in the universe that exist are it (where it is), its target (where it isn't) and the path to it (also where it isn't, but a different kind of where it isn't). If the path to the target is just a straight line through clear, uniform sky, that all counts as one small position. If the target is something with a nice, clear IR or radar signature, that's also one position. In that case, the missile could count where it is as greater than where it isn't. After all, the missile doesn't need to know where everything is in the entire observable universe to hit an enemy plane 2 km in front of you.
@@n1thecaptain965 I never even thought of it that way, that makes a lot of sense actually lmao
“You can call him Wickety wack cause his ankles went snap” stickboy
I feel like Bo knows that he needs to get the small circle over the plane he's trying to lock with a missile, he just likes to make us stress about it.
Imagine if Bo was using his HMD in this video haha
Yea for sure lol. For a lot of those I was trying to keep the nose in front in a turn to intercept the aircraft and just let the missile lock when it locks. This was my second time? In Rank VII jets and everything is moving fast. I personally feel like I am improving and I plan on continuing playing these aircraft on stream. We all start somewhere lol
@@botimegaming yeah, i see where you might have gotten confused with the locking on, cuz the mig-29 brought in that new Helmet Mounted Display mechanic, where the missiles seeker is actually following the pilots head(your mouse), and not just looking in front of you. You can also lock on without turning by looking around with free cam.
@@kabanosek1703 I honestly didn't know it could lock with free cam and I feel like a freaking idiot. Thank you so much for that info. I thought it would only chase your mouse and I didn't even think to try it...
@@botimegaming No problem and Good Hunting o7
@@botimegaming I was freaking out watching you miss such good locks and thinking it was just the game...
16:07 I bet the enemy team was listening in on Stickboy's lecture and and the hornet's nest of F-16 just made a beeline for him!
I love how the moment this update dropped everyone stopped talking about the f-14. The literal example of, “ I don’t wanna play with u anymore”
Thank you Stick, Mighty, and Zuit for helping with this video! You all did fantastic, and were hilarious! :)
Love the look of the mig 29 aswell as the f15,cant wait til they and the f18,love the vids bo!!!
F16 soz
same i love the f18
Merry Christmas Bo and crew. Thank you for the amazing content you guys always show.
06:57 I laughed so hard, never have _accurate_ modern history commentary been so amusing.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Merry Christmas, Bo and gang! Thanks for the entertainment in 2022 and looking forward to watching you guys make it look easier in 2023!
This video is a constant eargasm of sonic booms
If you are ever lucky enough to hop into an RB Air Battle with TBLF, they will either lead your team to victory, or all mysteriously crash within the first 3 minutes
Love you guys! Your content is one of the few that I always look forward to! Wishing all of you the best and a merry Christmas!
The one thing I hate about these videos is they’re always way to entertaining and funny. Always makes me get back on WT and relapse that addiction 💀 😂 great video guys and merry Christmas
and then you play one mission and get P.O. and leave again
Its nice to know I'm not the only one that does that 😂
Wonderful video guys! Lots of good shots from you today, it was a joy to see! Merry Christmas y'all!
Merry Christmas Bo you’re video always keep me happy. Keep up the good work
It would be fun seeing more of these jet fighter videos with mig 29 and f-16 or f-14 because they are so fun to watch
Merry Christmas you all!
Merry Christmas to you and everyone who has played with you! You guys are great ad a constant source of laughter! Keep it up!
Merry Christmas! Thank you for the fun year of videos. Always a joy in the day.
Thanks for the amazing content this year and a very Merry Christmas to everyone
That’s some of the best flying I’ve seen on war thunder the missile kills , the gun kills 🔥💯
When Bo is flying the F-14 and stick calls out “there’s a missile on your tail”
Bo responds with
“ I ain’t worried about that right now”
This video is awesome, watched a few times now. As a teen building 1/144 scale models, I always loved the look of the MiG-29. Have a good holiday season Bo and crew =}
I love the MiG-29, I'm glad they added it. Such a pretty plane.
ah yes the classic bridge test
what was that crazyness on take off yall
Crazy Ivan missile shot, nice
stick, good try on that one bud
zuitm that was a magnificent kill
Mighty and Stick need more flight training
Cheers to Might, Zuit and Stick
Love the video it's always fun seeing y'all having fun in air it's always more entertaining than tank battles but the crew are always hard working and the videos are amazing as always. Merry Christmas and have a happy new year.
Merry Christmas to you and all TBLF, always entertaining, fun and always brings a smile to our faces
Oh my! Wow! Merry Christmas Bo and to the rest of TBLF.
5:35 Does anyone want to start an SL trust fund with me for Stickboy before Gaijin repossesses his MiG-29?
Sage would like to have a word with you
Nyet!
Merry Christmas Bo and crew
a burning stickboy is a burning stick which is, of course, a torch ;) is he related to a Yule Log? ;)
Merry Christmas!! This was a great gift to wake up to. I know it took you fellas a long time to make this video, but it was worth it!! That was some great fun.
I love war thunder, and just watching your videos makes me happy
Merry Christmas! Love your videos as always!
A most wonderful Christmas video. Merry Christmas Bo and team!
First video I’ve seen of you and I absolutely love the content definitely a new subscriber
Merry Christmas Bo and crew!
Merry christmas Bo and Co! Great job on this one guys!
The crazy ivan joke was a Christmas treat… loved that dad joke
When you have faith in your missiles to do what they are supposed to do and not shoot down friendlies. Man, that got me since that's exactly what they did today
"I don't wanna talk about it!"
Why is it that that describes a solid 90% of what TBLF do?!
I liked it before it began!
A fantastic video bo and crew
Mighty's assassination attempts is why I wanted to see this video. So much fun to watch, thanks Bo
Merry Christmas bo!
Merry Christmas Bo!
16:07 the missile knows where it is at all times by knowing where it is not
Great vid may everyone have a great holiday
Considering the Sparrow is radar guided, flares will have no effect on it at all. Chaff might work, though.
Merry Christmas Bo
Bruh. The amount of people who didn’t try to flare your missiles 😂😂😂 I need that good fortune
Nice vid and merry Christmas ❄️❄️🥳🥂🍾
I like how you ask the missile to lock on while all you have to do is put the enemy plane inside the blinking green circle for it to lock onto the thing inside it. Also Merry Christmas bo!
Yea, for sure, looking back at it I could have done a bit better aiming. I was very focused on flying / trying to be defensive with all the F-16s out and slaying everything in their path. So I tried to keep the MiG in straight lines as much as possible and let the aircraft's merge instead of forcing the nose on to target, if that makes any sense. I am newb when it comes to the Rank VI/VII jets but I am improving the more I do it.
TBLF enters the match
TBLF - crashes
TBLF - crashes
TBLF - crashes
TBLF - crashes
I can only imagine what both teams think at that point.
Hello and Merry Christmas bo and to the gang have a good rest od your day.
And also TBLF is an amazing group and a group I liked to watch and still do thank you for the entertainment and excitement.
Much love bo! Your content makes me laugh so hard
Awesome stuff fellas ❤❤
I've seen these aircraft in real life, in service, afterburner blazing, and they are NASTY SMOKEY DIRTY!
Also, 17:50, the ejection levers on Soviet ejection seats are down between your legs, not overhead. Supposedly they're easier to reach in high-G situations.
Hey Bo, look what I found! More scam bots!
Only TOP G,S UPLOAD ON CHRISTMAS MERRY CHRISTMAS BO AND CREW
hey bo when you were asking your missle to get lock it wont due to the inner circle not being on the enemy plane so u gatta line em up and they will lock really far out
I just noticed something. The Mig 29 is essentially an F-16... if an F-16 had two engines. Look how the cockpit and engines are aligned. Cockpit top, flat bottom, engines underslung, but blend into the tail.
I think there is an SU that is even more like a two engine F-16.
sorry to break it to you but a lot of 4th gen fighters look alike
Merry Christmas, Bo.
The best christmas present ever!
Have a wonderful Christmas.. a perfect video to celebrate with :-)
Marry Christmas bo and everyone else
Merry Christmas TBLF and everyone !
16:20. (Clears throat).
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called air.
Also Merry Christmas Y’all!

this was a great video
Stick was so hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm going to need a loan of SL after all the accidents I had :( Awesome video, it was a fun night!
Happy holidays!
This guy makes WT look so much easier than it actually is.
Oh my god that bridge incident… well… all of the bridge incidents had me absolutely dying!
@10:25 what do you mean "get lock, get lock" when you're aiming the reticule in front of the jet and not on him?
Bo Time Yes Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
Love the video
A "once in a lifetime" kind of video
This is the crew I wish I had
Great video Bo! Know this one was difficult, it turned out fantastic though! Thank you for all the hard work!
This was a very good top tier video, so half as good as one of your low/mid tier videos. Top tier is as chaotic and aim assisted as low tier AB, but with saltier players and no Merlin/Sabre/Centaurus/Griffin/Wasp engine sounds.
"Zuit there is no way"
As Stick and Mighty pancake into the water
Merry Christmas !!!
The mig is such a beautiful jet fighter
AIM-7 are radar guided, chaff works on those. AIM-9 are IR guided, flares work on those.
"This is a one seat aircraft, your not sitting on my knee"
...there are probably plenty of empty missile housing points for him to hold on to.
YES! The missile copypasta, so glad it made it to the channel!
Merry Christmas
I would correct people on what a Crazy Ivan actually is but I bet Bo’s read The Hunt For Red October so I’ll just be merry and content with the reference
i like stick's energy in this video
Merry Christmas, Doogie Howitzer.
You see Ivan, if talk nice to missile, it wants to do good and hit target, then you never be missing.
I love doing the "crazy Ivans"
Merry Christmas everyone. Another great video, with some interesting air acrobatics ;)
The Mig-29 and its afterburner, for all those times when the boosters on the space shuttle are too fuel efficient
