    In motion chapter
    When the body is thrown upward what's the value of g and the same object is thrown downward whats the value of g

      On surface level, It is 9.8 unit. As altitude increases g value decreases. For your question- Generally vertical upward motion -g, And vertical downward motion +g. (But sign convention is completely depends on how you consider the motion.)
