- Hey pretties!! So excited to be doing my annual fall makeup tutorial for 2022! You all know fall is my favorite season. Especially for makeup because all of the gorgeous warm tones really compliment my complexion. Anyway! in todays video I will be sharing with you my favorite fall makeup tutorial for the moment and I will be comparing the umpkin Spice Second Slice Palette! Also, I do believe that the palettes are repeats, and I also believe there is a good reason for that. If you think about it, the expiration date of a palette is 12 months and they have to "replace" it every year so that we don't use expired makeup. The fact that the palettes are limited edition and can only be bought in that limited period of time, after they expire the company has to find a way to bring back the eyeshadows that the customers adored, so that explaines why most of the eyeshadows are similar.
That makes sense, however my guess is nobody would really use the palette only for one year, we all use them a little more than the expire date.
*Thania, as always, the look you created is spectacular and flawless! Too Faced needs to know how much we pink girls LOVE and VALUE their creations. Packaging and extra effort are everything to us! We want metal boxes, glitter, and bags and pouches with Clover the puppy, gingerbread people, swans, bunnies, squirrels, and such.*
Great video showing the differences & similarities in the colors in the Too Faced eye shadow kits. I have the pumpkin pie second slice kit & the Cinnamon Swirl eye kit along with a few others. I think they are using cardboard now because they are trying to use more easily recyclable materials in the cosmetics industry. By the way, that Melted Cinnamon bun lipgloss you mentioned you love 💗 so much you can find on EBay. There’s some other flavors too.
After you swatched the colors I can definitely see the similarities in them all.
The makeup look you did came out amazing, deep and just perfect for fall.
I think one of the pink have more “pink” and the other have more “red”
I bought this eyeshadow palette when it first came out and the only reason I bought it is because I work at Ulta and was able to get my hands on it. However I was extremely disappointed because not only does the eyeshadow palette look and feel cheap but it was literally almost a repeat on the eyeshadow palette colors. I am a huge eyeshadow palette collector and I really felt that if they were going to raise the pallet price they should have at least kept the original packaging. For example there better than chocolate eyeshadow palette they kept that metal packaging and made it look similar but you can tell the difference between the OG chocolate palette and the new one and I was very happy with them.
Absolutely love how your makeup came out. Love Too Faced, so disappointed about the cardboard packaging. 💖💖💖

Hey, hey Thania, oh no, I'm sorry you weren't excited for this year's Too Faced Fall palette. I believe Too Faced was trying to be eco friendly with using the cardboard packaging...the eye look turned out really cute😍☺️, but like you said the palette was lacking the pizzazz and excitement. Too me it seems like Too Faced ran out of ideas for a Fall colour story this year. I will be passing on this palette.

Anyway, I’m passing on the second slice palette because I have last year’s pumpkin spice and I’m really disappointed too about this year’s cardboard packaging.
It's a no for me. I agree that they should have kept the tin packaging. I am not sure why they decided to change it. Maybe they are trying to cut down on costs idk. Also when I saw the colors, they are too similar to other palettes. I just feel like I should save my coins for something else.
I saw this palette online and I’m not gonna lie…..at first, I was a bit underwhelmed by it. I just felt like Too Faced was starting to kind of fall off in the makeup world and was making re-makes of some of their palettes, and came out with their new concealer to get people hyped up about the brand again……but then I read the name of the palette and understood the whole concept of the whole second slice because, when eating dessert…sometimes you might go for a second slice so that made sense. However….I just feel like this new palette and maybe collection, it’s okay but their previous Fall and holiday collections especially 2015-2016 were amazing.
I'm just wait for the Christmas collection. Thanks for the video 💖

i am personally disappointed in this palette, i feel that it is just a repeat n they altered a few shades by very very little but not enough. and then the fact that its cardboard just makes it feel cheap. just my opinion though :(
