Smoked Pork Belly on a Pellet Grill

- Today we are taking a whole slab of pork belly and smoking it like a brisket to get some beautiful pork belly slices. I used salt and pepper with a tiny bit of bbq seasoning to give this a dark, reddish hue. These turned out absolutely delicious. It smoked for almost 5 hours around 275 degrees. ENJOY!

I enjoy cooking pork belly but a little too rich I usually use put in cabbage, beans or slice and broil with additional seasoning. Great video no silly background music no distractions no wifey taste test. Excellent presentation

Lolol yeah it was very hot! It does make a great BLT. Thick slices of smokey goodness.

Love your tutorials man but let me recommend a wooden cutting board so you don't wind up consuming a bunch of micro plastics from your zytel board. Don't believe me? Take your board and make a bunch of cutting motions on and and then dump it on a black surface; you'll be shocked at the plastic you're consuming. Wood only and seal it with tallow!!

How are you liking your new smoker? My old pit boss broke a while ago, so I’m debating on what to get next.
I absolutely love it. Super high quality amazing customer service and great product. I get a nice clean burn on this holding dead on temps for 12 16 hour cooks. My pit boss always swung up and down in Temps and would go out on me mid cook sometime. These are expensive though but worth every penny!
I've had a Camp Chef DLX for 6 years and smoke 4 to 6 times a month on it and it is consistent. I did seal the hood with felt oven sealer I got on Amazon and replace the felt once a year. It keeps the smoke going through the stack and the smoker doesn't have to burn as much pellets to reach desired temperatures, the smoker doesn't have to work as hard and you use less pellets.
You said fat side up bug looked like meat side up.
It's been a long time since I've done the video. Pork belly is so fatty that it probably looks like either side could go up

Couldn't you just use barbecue sauce instead of mustard?
I don't like to use anything that has extra sugars and ingredients. Mustard hot sauce oil. This are my 3 go to. I'm sure you could though. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
