That police station was filmed in a disused court house that’s escaped me now, apparently, unsure whether it’s true or not, Yorkshire Television may have built a replica interior pub over at its Leeds studios.
In the end the show was ditched due to a downturn in advertising revenues, putting many out of work, oh well, it’s been 14 years since it ended, if only they had cancelled Emmerdale and Coronation Street instead, and retained Heartbeat instead, the follow up to the show was The Royal.
The rest they say was history.
