My mother had a major stroke at 47 years of age. I was 17 years old.
Sadly my mother can't use the left side of her body, speech severely slurred, and she now has early dementia.
I had to be her full time carer and raise my younger siblings by myself because my father walked away. No extended family help. I had to go no contact they were toxic.
Glad to hear Ms Turner is doing well.
Holly that is a kind deed that you will never regret although I know it was very hard! You will be rewarded for this karma is real and you have a lot of good karma coming your way. You sound like such a sweet woman!

My stroke was four years ago in my morning shower, weakness on my right side, could not fold a towel, double vision. I knew immediately what was happening since heart problems run in my family. Got to the ER by EMS immediately and spent three days in ICU. Now 99% recovered, still have reminders I was lucky and not permanent disability.

RobertHappy you had full recovery, praise God, many still have problems, people, of certain ages, need to get checked regularly, & do all you can Not to have a stroke, they touching every area of your life sometimes, horrible thing to happen to a person, & it can happen over & over, take care, do all you cannot to have one, blessings to those who have had one, Amen!

Tina is a phenomenal woman. I am glad that she got the medical attention she needed. I am so happy that she has her loving husband there to take care of her.
She actually went against the advice of her doctors not taking high blood pressure medicine.
She was diagnosed with hypertension and high blood pressure at age 40.

I was just told that because I believe in full restoration as I’m recovering from a MS Relapse (low vit. d), where the right side is weakened. I’m researching what to do in case of stroke., in addition to Holy Ghost 1st & locally grown organic food as Medicine 🙏🏽

Tina is blessed because she sees not what happens to her but what happens between the lines..it is as if she takes what happens in the bigger picture...as if everything was planned and she is always ready to accept the reason behind the events...
She is a Buddhist. She chants “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” I’m not an SGI Buddhist but I know people who have chanted with her and i looked for the videos and they were correct.
She bases her whole life on that philosophy.

The trouble is that if you don't realise or others around you don't, you won't get to hospital early enough for the clot busting drugs. Most strokes are indeed a blockage and you've only got a short window to get the medication to make a good recovery. It's ALWAYS an emergency! Get to a hospital!
