If you want to try to track down residents and know their story about what happened, you can begin with the County clerks’ office and access a history of the property. You can then do a google search of the names of the listed most recent owner. There will be a record. I don’t know how to research the census records to see who lived n these homes in order to track them down. This is very sad. I would say these farmers were prosperous at one time.
When Canadian Tire built a huge warehouse they protected the historic home on the property and they made sure the creek that went through the property was properly maintained.
45:16 there are steps to the basement in the room with the box of records.. move the speaker and lift the hatch also another set of steps in a closet I believe... explored this place a few months ago with a couple friends. cant believe someone actually stole the miata that was in the shop
stringer media thanks for sharing this house i Remember another Abandoned explore showed this house they was a doctor and the recoreds in the boxes said who he was and thanks again and God Bless.
Here in Canada the Developers are required to board up and secure any abandoned houses or others buildings. They can actually face serious consequences if buildings are not secure. Also if you get caught in an abandoned building in Canada they take it seriously. Since it all comes down to liability, if somebody gets hurt, the owner even if it's abandoned is liable still.
Well, that 1 mansion that had the cameras on the outside that you think might be fake. They might be wired from the inside down through the wall. And between
Serious question for the people who made this video, why are sooooooooo many homes being bought up and torn down in Canada???? It seems like there is a neighborhood of older- oldish mansions, and then one day everyone leaves, they tear them down, and build new ones. Is it to be rid of bigger old homes, which can be cost prohibitive to repair, to bring to the present?? Or is there something more to it?? I’m in the US, but it’s something I have noticed on repeat. We have that here, don’t get me wrong, but not quite to the level I see there. If you could take a moment to let me know I would really appreciate it!
I know exactly where you guys were north of Brampton into bolton .Amazon has like 3-4 new warehouse up in bolton . I’m 45 minutes north of Brampton highway 10 that was all farm land is starting to get built up too especially with the new 413 that Doug ford is building no matter what anyone tells him
I don't understand how Ford ever got elected. He's wise than useless, he's doing things that we can never undo like our greenbelt, kids education etc...
I wouldn’t have left my stuff behind no chance haha and I am from Canada too u guys are great Halifax/ Moncton here born in Halifax ns and living in Moncton Nb
This land is being taken away basically. The new trend for this type of land grab is to make AI Data Storage. How and Why, because everyone thinks it is so cool to use AI chat GPT, AI Apps, AI Alexia, AI Voice, AI Gaming.....etc....these use over 3 times the space. Want to stop, AI, Stop using it!!!
Sad all these people had to leave their homes I caught something that would shock you I screen shot it and zoomed in If only I can show it on here I saw something move when you were walking by a home I thought it was a human inside standing by the door ducking But zoom in and look At 30:17 / 30:18 Theirs two walking past the door . Like I said, screen shot it. And zoom in
Im not seeing farmland now. There might have been farms at one time but not for a long time. Barns?, silos, etc. We live n an area their trying to blight t build condos from atlantic ocean to halifax. We live in the middle.
Oh Canada 🇨🇦, let a foreign company take houses 🏘 instead of just building on so much vacant open fields or open land ....& people shouldn't take the buyouts unless double its value plus the cost of moving & relocation
So these people who have had to leave those homes, do the local council re-home them?? I'm in the uk, and if we are asked to leave under circumstances the council will re-home us temporarily until a house or flat comes available.
Canada ain't Canada no more. But similar things are happening in the US also, if not worst. Developers are plotting for datacenters, which will be the infrastructure required to run AGI systems in the near future. Canada is great because we have a sustainable power grid and cooler temperatures to keep datacenters running efficiently. Anyways, It's hard to not see the dystopia becoming a reality. Once the next couple generations die out, this country will never be the same again.
I see industrial parks soon to be sitting empty.no commerce no home building.we need new homes being built or everything stops.bc ontario is flat. Libsndp gone and lower interest rate will help
I love your videos but why throw the tv in the basement? "Leave no trace!" My boys both grew up in cub scouts/Boy Scouts and I have kept the mindset of be adventurous but leave no trace, meaning, go places and explore but leave it as you found it and be respectful.
Why did the community not get together & stand up to the bullies What exactly is this company going to be producing Ingrid? Why could they not build the wharehouse in a pla e where o homes are
Wouldn't it be something if we helped homeless home and sustain these bought neighborhoods. They could even use squatter rights on the people and company that are monopolizing our land. Take it back from the companies to give to our people with nothing. Just a thought that needs development
Worse than just the homes being lost, this is rare prime agricultural land. While Ontario is 1.076 million km² in size, 158,654 km² is water, and more than half of it is the solid rock of the Canadian Shield. It also shares a 2,700 km (1,700 mi) border with the United States. So, the only good land for agriculture is south and southwestern Ontario, i.e., the area bounded by the north shore of Lakes Erie and Ontario, west of Lake Huron and south of Georgian Bay (enjoy, Tyler Bucket's reaction videos about Ontario:ua-cam.com/video/lgLfufqCLBQ/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/EfMv4cEi8d4/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/XaHwJutzykU/v-deo.html) John in Ontario
Is that actually what they get is less than what it cost to build . Because here in the lower 48 . The people usually get a small profit. But if the people or owners have the property paid for then they can build a smaller for less in cost and taxes and heating and cooling . If they can just take is not cool . Now every body who wants to hold out then is when they eminent Domain. And there pissed by then so they give you low ball payment. If big industry is building then bet your ass Big Government is involved .
Being a storyteller I would be more interested in knowing how much each former owner was paid, who purchased and why, what will these warehouses house? People maybe? How many of these proposed warehouse locations exist and where are they? Are there clusters of them? So many questions, so few answers.
Respectful of what?? Of people who gave their lives and things up for money? Of leaving those things behind to rot and perish from disuse? Hell of a legacy i say. I believe, grab whatever you can take, and return it to a useful purpose, rather than the graveyard of neglect, they have been marked for. Respect? That, is respectful.
It's mind-blowing what people leave behind in these situations. It's a shame that so many homes get demolished for corporate greed.
It's disgusting.
Another great find! Soooo, this is what progress destroys. Someones treasured home gone for ever.
Always has been that way😢

I love you uncovering mysteries and exposing this to us all
When Canadian Tire built a huge warehouse they protected the historic home on the property and they made sure the creek that went through the property was properly maintained.
That was a plus
You know these people only got a fraction of what the house and land is acting worth
This is true, that's alotta land too, l betcha they didn't even get what the land was worth, mildly put, they got ripped off.
That's shameful
Or Bill Gates
Grew crop, wheat
"wHy Is ThE hOuSiNg MaRkEt So FuCkEd!?"

This is why I hate corporate. They replace all housing and farming with big useless depressing factories and pointless industrial parks.

I absolutely loved the big grey mansion, I wish we could’ve went in there, but this video was way cool!!! Thank you ❤
Sad that people's homes/farms are being taken from them. What a wicked society.

Farming land being destroyed for industrial parks is disgusting.

Great video! I've liked all your Canada content, you really take the time to check out all of each property. 👍

@2:43 i think their wireless cameras.
Eminent domain and Gov't bulldozers level the community.
That's sad
Horrible 😢.
crazy whats left behind
😢😢😢 how long this house?????
Horse farms everywhere get the axe not just gorgeous estates. I cry often ❤
Surprised that the urban copper miners didn't mine the copper, brass ,wiring & aluminum from those houses
Why does this area give the Chernobyl exclusion zone vibes , pretty cool video , watched the whole thing, looking forward for more content like this
Can you just imagine what you're breathing in? It can't be good walking to those houses like that for your health.
Looks like some had squatters living in them possibly after original owners left.
Could the home owners not rent their property out as Air B&B for workers who will be working at the wharehouse?

I hate to see houses 🏠 that are being destroyed by government agencies that don’t care 🤷 and I hate to see that they are being fixed up
I feel like I'm Bigfoot😂 I hope you guys are doing well xx
The roof like that. Must have been abandoned for 15 maybe even 20 years
So these people who have had to leave those homes, do the local council re-home them??
I'm in the uk, and if we are asked to leave under circumstances the council will re-home us temporarily until a house or flat comes available.
No, they give you a check and wave you goodbye. Then on you go, onto to your next life. It’s up to you where you go and what you do!
Exactly what we need more industrial buildings. So in 5yrs they can be keft vacant as well. Sad
montreal would be a cool place to explore for sure
You should check out by ambassador Bridge in windsor ontario
Its like "you'll be happy and own nothing." Thats exactly right government takes your property away.
What? Lol
For instance, the buyouts are increasing and it’s happening everywhere
My question is do they really have to sell??
