Thank you for sharing this video with me.! What a beautiful place and great cycling infrastructure. The video renews my interest in riding across Poland in earnest. I'm also very impressed with how small your bike folds - this is so convenient for travel.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are few places I've been that were so bike friendly and so beautiful at the same time. I own several folding bikes. With 16" wheels, this one is the smallest and I bought it specifically for air travel. I can fold it and pack it in a standard suitcase in 10 minutes and it unpacks and is ready to ride in the same amount of time. It's small and light enough that I don't get charged any extra fees even with extra gear and clothing in the suitcase. Clearly, if you're doing a 5 month tour, it's worth the extra effort and cost bringing a proper touring bike. In my case, however, I'm traveling for work and I just have a day here and there to ride. On this trip, I also had a day and a half stopover in Germany (video in the pipeline) so it got packed/checked/unpacked on multiple flight segments. Oversize fees and assembly would not have been practical, not to mention getting a full size bike box in the trunk of a small Uber car that I'm sharing with a coworker.
What was it like riding a 16” bike over all the cobblestones & bricks? I saw you have a suspension seat post; that must have been invaluable. I have a 20” folder but have never ridden a 16” bike; so not sure what that experience could even be like over so many uneven surfaces. Thanks so much for sharing your video!
@@rchosfan the cheap suspension seatpost I have doesn't really do much. Eventually I may replace it with a Redshift or Cane Creek seatpost which would be much more effective. What really helped here were the 2" Schwable Big Apple tires inflated at the low end of the pressure range. I was actually surprised at how well they absorbed the shocks for the cobblestones. Much better than I expected. I also have Schwable BIg Apple tires on my 20" Tern Vektron ebike.
@@Khris618 Thanks so much for sharing - that makes perfect sense! I have two 20” folders and have Schwalbe Big Apple and Big Ben tires on them (and they make a world difference!). I’m not as versed with 16” bikes and didn’t know they made them for that size. Certainly makes sense though!

Turn and return around 50km and in the end żurek soup 😉
Regards from 3cit🚲
It wasn't quite 50km because the return trip was partially by train. But yes, the Zurek soup tasted wonderful after the ride.
