Adam was cold and lonely. He lay on the floor of his basement, wondering what he was doing. It was February 14, and snowing in the small town of Redwing, Minnesota. He decided to brave the winter storm and headed to the movie theater. There he sat down to watch a rom-com. He wished something like this would happen to him. He was unaware that something would. Walking back to get more popcorn was a silhouette. In the dark, she brushed his hand and left in it a paper bird. When the movie was over, he went to his car. He opened the bird and stared at the words inside. "Be Brave." He just stared for a while. It was a girl's handwriting. He just wanted to know her name. So he drove away with nothing much to say, but in his hand, he held the paper bird. The next couple of hours he didn't feel well, and his cat wildflower could tell. But he felt better, after a while of sitting on his kitchen floor. Soon he went out again. he got a coffee and pondered his paper bird and then he saw the same handwriting. And that was when she showed up again, in the snow. It was serendipity. He made a paper bird out of his napkin and wrote on it. "Okay, I'll be brave" That was all. But Adam would forever remember the phrase. "Be Brave"
well made :)
