My maternal great-grandmother was a WWII French resistant and, hopefully, gave me a fantastic grandmother who lived in that decades and enrich me all of at. She died in 2011 and I’m 22 but her legacy have an eternal impact on my parisian architecture & design product’s spirit. Thank you Hedi to remind me all good memories!
i love the stylist of SAINT LAURENT THE WAY HE OR SHE HAVE KEPT THOSE SHAWLS ON SHOULDERS ARE JUST AMAZING LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL HE HAS KEPT ROCK AND ROLL STILL ALIVE IN FASHION INDUSTRY I MEAN COMPLETE ROCK AND ROLL ALIVE THANKS HEDI SLIMANE
Everybody sees bone thin female models: it's normal . Then they see bone thin male models: it's anorexia. Jesus Christ guys it's the look for this collection.
I hate to admit it (bc it is the same all the time) but there's a simple brilliance in Hedi Slimane's designs/overall aesthetic. Although, I feel like all his collections should be in a label of his own. Someone else who would never have dropped the Yves would be more suited.
This is another perfect example of the 30 year cycle...with some fun twists, the boys are at least interesting, and living as close to The Sunset Strip as I do I can see "for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles." Good fun, YSL is going to make new friends in London for sure!! Once upon a time, Cher made such stuff in her kitchen...I got you babe!
I am old enough to remember this decade.Sergio Leone meets Mick Jagger at Woodstock or Altamont..We were that thin without being anorexic. Trust babies raiding their grandparents' closets.
Love the show, as a musician allow me to suggest that to wear the Men's line you need to be in at least one band, two side projects, or risk being deemed the worst of all artistic pejoratives..... unauthentic.
You can let hear yourselves about their skinny and drug abused apperiances, and maybe that make sence, but don't focus only on this show. Try to accept that this is the world we live in, thats where our society went. If you dont like it, change yourself, the attitude, and don't wait from everyone to change and "be normal" except you. Thats so stupid. And by the way...who the fuck want to drink the kool-aid? Anyway, i loved it, i miss the sence of the 60s, 70s so much from other fashionshows, and that was really catchy. Thats exactly what i associate when i hear the word Woodstock, so this is definitely an inspiration to my spring and also festival look. I loved the textures, the different patterns, the long necklaces, hats, the sparkles and glitters. Congrats from Hungary!
I really loved Slimane when he first got on the seen for YSL men and them Dior latter he had something special and it felt new. But this feels so dated. I see a lot the reference to to Yves personal style when he was younger but this dose not work for me it to intrenched in the 60's and we have seen this from Slime before. And as a man I would like to see MEN on the runway NOT little boys. I know that the Japanese market is a target but but this some how feels like costume not fashion.
You people don't get it, he was inspired by the new revival of psych rock in California and other parts right now. It's as relevant as ever! Seriously, go to Armani or Dolce if you want to see men, stay in your lane!
Peter Alan Hoffmann Why? And actually my waist and these models' waists are 27-28. But that's irrelevant, I'm just cluing you in on why a 60s psych rock inspired collection is still relevant/ current today, because there is a revival of that music going on and that was Hedi's point, not to be dated.
Why? Why is it still current? who says it's still current? And even if it may be, it doesn't make it any less boring. And waste line is absolutely relevant because it limits your customer base. CL LZRNU
Those guys were really rockin' that 60s vibe! I love it!!!!

+chrishinsdale What a dick, rock musicians don't need to practice, they sound better when their in fashion.

why ho why are models on every catwalk seam to be so skinny, and does not promote healthy looking models etc?

The supper skinny jeans and the heeled boots are a massive turn off!
I thought I was thin and bandy..... Till I saw this models
it might be even very hard to find so many similar award models :D
Who's the model at 5:13?
I really would prefer models that are not so skinny.
I really loved Slimane when he first got on the seen for YSL men and them Dior latter he had something special and it felt new. But this feels so dated. Absolutely too out of date...... All has been seen and warren before, there needs to be life and passes and smart, young does not need to be sloppy.😃
