From a person who lives in Vegas - do NOT walk barefoot - for multiple reasons. (There are a ton of little stores that sell flats, water, etc. on the strip - for a premium.) Pro-tip - if ur really not into hooking up, wear a wedding ring and u can just hold up ur hand and shrug , will make most go away.
Man my husband and I both had to constantly do this! We would be heading somewhere we thought would have people, well, fully covered and then decided we didn’t want to enter. Person at door acted like we were weird until we held up our wedding rings. As we did I said “we have standards and morals,” and we both turned and walked away.
A few nice restaurants, but personally, I would not recommend Vegas (I would recommend it to people I want very far away, hopefully they will stay there lol)
Re: wedding ring. Tried that and it attracted more and even grosser men.
@@SeriousSara1 It all depends on why a person goes. I would recommend the shows and uniqie entertainment, (but personally i don't gamble or go to clubs.) Cirque du soleil of course, visting musicians, helicopter trour of grand canyon, hoover damn, meow wolf, ATV riding in the dessert, shoot machine guns, virtual reality illimunarium, etc. The nicer casinos even host traveling museum exhibitions. These things can be harder to find because not promoted as much.
@@stacys8729 thank you for telling me this. Hubby and I haven't had a honeymoon and those activities sound fun 😊
@@stacys8729 Don't forget about our Area 15(Omega Mart), the Zac Bagans Haunted Museum, The Mob museum, Gondola rides at the Venetian, hot air balloon riding, horse back riding at Red Rock. The Beatles Love show at the Mirage. We have so many cool options. I am not a gambling/clubbing type of girl, so I'm always excited to find other options.
I’m from Las Vegas. I just wanted to say the reason why the girl was coming out of the manhole cover was because Las Vegas has the largest population of underground homeless people. Part of my job is to go in the sewer system and drainage system to count the homeless. It’s actually quite smart on their part because Vegas can be 120° outside and in the drainage system it’s about 70 to 80° F.
I also agree with you that’s why you never go into the public pools!
Why never go in the public pools if its a drainage system? Surely that would take water away, say for example overflowing water that spills out when someone jumps in. The water from the drainage/sewer system doesn't end up in the public pools, right?
I've never been to Vegas, but I once broke my shoe at a strip club. The owner took me out back, where he and one of the dancers fixed my shoe for me. They were so lovely 😁
I used to strip and fixed shoes for multiple men and women with my backup nail glue that I always had on me 😅
The guy who thought the drink was a bong. God Bless him. The way the woman shouted tells me this was not the first time he tried to smoke his liquor. Fierce.
Seeing the girl climb out of the manhole reminded me of a documentary I watched recently. Apparently Las Vegas has miles and miles of flood control tunnels under the city and more than 1,000 homeless people live in these underground tunnels. It rains very little there so the tunnels are dry 99% of the time. An entire community of people eat, sleep and socialize down there in make shift shacks they built themselves.
I only once went to Vegas, 10 years ago. I met with this couple (that also drove there from elsewhere) who needed to rehome a dog. I left 45 minutes later. I still have the dog and am friends with that couple. Stayed less than an hour and left a big winner. 😊😊
The “vultures circling” happen on cruise ship parties too. My friend & I were at the adults only deck party one night, & I alerted her to guys literally circling us. 🙈 No, we did not go with them.
The real motto of Las Vegas is, "Come on vacation, leave on probation!"
Florida's motto starts the same...the rest of their rhyme includes violation of that probation and a consequence ........I can't remember it exactly, and my other half (who grew up there) is still asleep.
I’m so proud of you for not making fun of the lady dancing. People are so judgmental but then tell everyone to dance like nobody’s watching lol. You’re a good person and I’m proud to follow you
Completely agree. On any given day I'm the one dancing like no one's watching, boppin or singing in my car. I always smile, when I see someone marching to the beat of their own drum. We go this way once, live it to the absolute fullest.
@@yourheartsdesire6308 me too!! I’m always dancing and singing and enjoy my space. If ppl don’t like it they don’t have to look. But more times than not I get smiles and laughter and ppl waving or cheering me on lol. I love those kind of ppl
@@seekeroflight85 my friends told me to stop doing full Kpop choreo in my car while driving because as impressive as it was, I can't keep giving them mild heart attacks 😂🤣
I've reserved that dancing for road trips on empty highways cause then they all join in.
Life is too short for it not be a musical right?!?
As a Vegas born girl the one tip I always give people is if you can't stand the heat, don't visit in the summer. Between 110°F daily and no humidity a lot of people wind up in the ER if they aren't careful.
I was in Vegas with a friend who was teaching at a conference. I spent every day by the pool while she taught. It was quiet and heavenly. Come Friday it was pure hedonism. There are things I can't unsee!
Had a friend who once worked at a holiday camp (UK) as a janitor. A lot of holiday venues drain the pool, scrub it clean and refill it almost daily during the busy season. Because of the water going BLACK with nastiness from partying as chlorine can't kill everything. That bit of information is why I will never use a communal pool at a hotel or holiday park. 🤢🤮😱
It’s basically a public toilet that people also swim in lol. I used to go to our public pool and then noticed I was one of the only people actually using the bathroom. Adults and kids who were there all day never went in. Yuck
How would it go black? From what? Especially if it was getting drained and cleaned each day.....
Yeah, public pools are just nasty. I worked at one and every time the water got to durty we just upped the chlorine. At least it was a pool that had a constand supply of new clean water. Most of the really small pools have a closed water system. Those are the ones turning all kinds of colors
I've worked at many holiday camps and not one ever drained the pool , in fact they would use the pool to clean balls from kids play pit when someone weed in them 😭🤷
An American investigative team just took samples from the pools at 6 major casinos in Vegas. All but one came back testing positive for high levels of bacteria and E. Coli. They said that the levels of bacteria were that of the insides of a toilet. I will NEVER use another communal pool! People are gross!
I live in Las Vegas. Do not EVER go barefoot! Especially in the summer: even when the sun has gone down, the pavement will still burn your feet. And don't think you can get by on those dollar flip flops, either: they WILL melt. The homelessness in the city has really gotten out of hand the last few years. That woman crawling out of the manhole? That was most likely a homeless person living in the drainage areas to keep out of the sun. Vegas has gotten very creative in not making comfortable, shady spots for homeless people: no shade trees, either hard pavement or craggy rocks beside the roads, etc...
I once busted my flip flops in Croatia in the middle of summer. I had to take a five/ten minute walk barefoot on rocks and concrete to get back to the house we rented. The beach was so close to our home we went there already in bathing suits so my dad's car was off limits. And it was something like 3pm so I had probably gotten a burn on my feet.
You’re so right! I saw a documentary about homeless in Vegas and there is an underground world in the sewers. It was eye opening.
The amount of unhoused people who were bused to LA from Vegas after being arrested and committed for a psych evaluation is nuts. They're trying to ensure that nobody can afford the travel expense to get back to Vegas, by dropping vulnerable people in a foreign city with no support network.
Oh wow that's awful,. Shaded areas are really good for cities in general !
My youngest daughter lives in Vegas. I got a great deal on a room at Planet Hollywood. Not to gamble, I checked in and never left the room. I ordered food while the GIANT bathtub filled up. It took almost an hour. It was the most GLORIOUS soak I have ever had! So worth it.
The old lady dancing is an ABSOLUTE ICON. I can't wait to be her in 40 years.
I am already her, and have danced even without music like no one is watching since I was 14 😘
I went to vegas one time when i was sober for a while. It was for a friend's bachelorette. At the club a guy kept asking to buy me a drink... I FINALLY said ok.. .he asked what I wanted... I said "a coke" ... you wouldn't think you'd ever hear crickets in a club... but I swear I heard crickets as his brain tried to compute what he had just heard.. in a club... in vegas. A few seconds later and he simply turned without a word and walked away. I didn't see him again.
That is rude. He offered to buy you a drink and instead of a $20 cocktail, you ordered a $5 soft drink. If I was that guy, I would be like "In a sea of alcohol and craziness, this girl asks for a Coke? I have got to talk to this girl. She has stories". Lol. But that is just me. My interest peaks, when something goes against the status quo. Not in a freaky way, i just love when people choose to be different. Sorry went off on a tangent there. Sorry you didn't get your drink.
Obvs just a creep who wanted to get you drunk & lost interest when he saw that wasn't going to happen. Man knew he had no sober game, & his only play is taking advantage of the vulnerable.
@@mysterylovescompany2657 cowards move. Time to revoke his "man card". From now on, he will go no higher than the status of boy. Lol
As a resident of Las Vegas, DO NOT WALK HOME BAREFOOT. HepC does not stay in Vegas lol
Wow that guy that saved that girl on the zip line that was pretty impressive and you were really funny tonight Charlotte! Stay safe and stay Purdy
I learned 2 things from this video. 1) Avoid at all cost Pool-party and 2) When a drunk friend must be take back to the room- use luggage-trolley from the hotel . By the way Charlotte... you are so close to 1 million subscribers :)
Best thing about being a fat chick in the adult pool in Vegas: Almost no one bothers you and your drink while you live out your dreams of being a drunk lizard wobbling between sun rock and water. Plus you get the WEIRD conversations. Yes woman who looks like they are somehow both a grandma AND a 30 ish dancer who just got off shift, please tell me your story about your last swinging adventure gone wrong. Please. I live for this.
Well as a fat girl too this gives me so much hope for when I go to Vegas ☺️
I'm a grown-ass woman with a job, and here I am on a Monday watching the Potato Queen perform Shark Family Puppet Theater. 🦈
Good on ya! I’m a grown ass man with a job and I’m here with ya. I schedule my lunch around Miss Charlotte’s posting. We can’t be serious all the time sister! 😉😂
Damn..home girl at 10:50, in the pool, had some 1980’s Flashdance moves going on🙌🏻🙌🏻🤣🤣🤣
Went yo Vegas in 2018. Best vacation of my life. But Holy HELL ON EARTH it was DRY!!! 🤣🤣🤣
We had various plans for each day. But we were so dehydrated, sore, and exhausted, we took an entire day, and never left our room even once. We ordered room service (something we had never done) for meals. Watched movies. Took naps. Soaked in the spa bath. The most dressed we ever got was in the white robes provided by the hotel. Best day ever! Absolutely zero pressure to do anything at all. 🤣
Anyone who thinks the pool parties look fun are definitely not introverts. This looks absolutely terrifying to me.
I’m with you. I’d rather get a root canal than attend one of these pool parties 😬
I lasted 18 hours in Vegas. I hated it so much a left a day early. Cirque du Soleil was fun, though! The creepy guy trying to follow me back to the hotel afterwards was not...
I once got stuck on a zipline when I was really little. It was an upright one where I had to hold on and take a running leap (dw it also had a safety attachment around the torso). I got stuck right in the middle and inched my way to the other side before the rescue guy came to save me. One of my proudest moments.
Tere are whole communities living under the city, with tents, generators, tvs, beds. They pop up out of the man holes all the time. I met a wanted murderer in the course of my job here in the city coming out from under ground.. Fun times.

When I was in college, one of my friends was a nursing student and a medic in the army reserves and she would TOTALLY hook you up to an IV in her dorm room to help with your hangover 😂😂 we were so dumb. 😂😂
i could have used that back in the day. The plasma donation centers could have made a killing in Austin doing this as a side business!
Been to Vegas. Never again. What me, being a tourist, astonished me most was the contrast between vulgar luxury and poverty. Homeless people making their beds on the sidewalk outside the casinos, ignored by the casino goers.
OMG!! I'm dying right now!! That 'puppet' looks a little too real for me, LMAO.
My husband and I went to Vegas for our tenth anniversary. We saw 5 shows: Penn & Teller, Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soliel and a small show magician. We had a total blast! We gambled $5 for a co-worker and $1 for another, at the airport, waiting for our flight home!
If you go for the shows and not the games, Vegas is an amazing place. I would have loved to have seen Pen and Teller. So jealous on that one. Lol
When I was 15 I was having a sleepover with my best friend and suddenly my sister called my mother asking for a ride to the hospital because she had suddenly gone into labor. So we all piled in the car to take her to the hospital (my mother hit a family of skunks crossing the road. We were all gagging the whole way there and smelled like filthy swamp creatures when we showed up) my sister ended up needing an emergency C-section (mother and baby pulled thru perfectly) which took hours and hours. I was a teenager needing a distraction with my best friend so of course we did stupid shit. Like when we were hungry we thought it was a good idea to take turns holding each other's legs while the other was leaned over the edge of the wish fountain, digging out people's wishes so we could put them in the vending machine. Essentially eating people's wishes. 🤣🤣
I’ve been to Vegas multiple times, I absolutely LOVE It
My oldest and my husband are only hearing this video out of context and the looks on their faces! I'm dead! 😂
Go Charlotte for cheering on the lady dancing and living her best life 🙌

"Just walk home barefoot"
Have you been to las vegas?
Have you seen the sidewalks during the day?
No telling what you might step in/on at night.
Last time I was in Vegas, it was 107 degrees F, so walking barefoot on that pavement...🔥🦶
Also beware of flip flops…I still don’t know what scratched my foot, but I can only imagine what diseases I’ve gotten since then 😖😅
@@melissablackwood Yeah I made the same mistake getting out of the car barefoot, I am not used to hot and dry which makes it not feel so hot but damn that pavement was scorching could not get back in the car fast enough.
I also hate walking around in sandals & I used to live out there so the further out you go from the strip is less dirty, but still lol
@@ameliabrown3987 omg that reminds me of Kathleenlights (UA-camr if you don’t know her). She got out of her car (don’t think it was Vegas, just a regular trip to the store or something) and she was in sandals and she stepped on someone’s gross USED needle that they didn’t bother to dispose of properly. She had to wait a few weeks and then go in for testing to make sure she didn’t get any horrible diseases. I think I would die just from the stress. That story has terrified me ever since and now I walk with my face down just to make sure 😂
I lived in Vegas for 2 years... these videos are the reason no local goes to the strip. I loved living there, and I think we went to the strip twice... when friends came in. I'd go back. So much to see and do outside the strip.
I lived there also, for about 2 years. My parents for about 13. If I went to the strip, it was for a buffet or friends visiting. But I also enjoyed living there and am considering moving back.
So true. My parents had friends who lived there and they also said they never go to the strip ( unless they had guests who wanted to go). Many years ago it was nice to visit but not anymore.
@@sdube001 I would think that the buffets were Petri dishes that were as disgusting as the pools.
Lol me too I was there for like a year and a half and I would go to red rock a lot or around centennial hills.

As a Las Vegas native, born and raised and works at Caesar’s Palace I am equal parts horrified and not at all surprised.
Having lived in Vegas for more than 40 years I typically avoided the resort coordinator like the plague. Even in some of the "off the Strip" casinos you'd see some pretty interesting things. Vegas was for many an out of hand frat party. Really came to despise the " what stays in Vegas" slogan along with the name "Sin City".
Definitely a lot of eye rolls watching the antics in this video. He he he. There really are a lot of fun things to do in Vegas that don't involve casinos. 💜
Ya I have zero desire to go there to the strip. If there are other things then maybe one day.
Funnest thing for me to do in Vegas is going back to the airport the next morning, starting up the aircraft and getting out! I really don't like operating those flights, the crap you see at KLAS is enough for me.
Only 10k subs away from 1 million yay🤗🥳😍 Can’t wait. It’s happened so fast I’m so excited for you Charlotte!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

That was great. So many fun times.
Think about this though; That pool party is being refilled in the middle of a water shortage So Bad that they've had to prioritize one lake that feeds CO, AZ., UT., and CA over another lake/reservoir that feeds the same areas letting it dry up. That is where they're getting the water for that pool.

Never been to Las Vegas, but went to a huge casino in Melbourne. The stuff outside the casino floor was really entertaining. The casino floor itself though 🤯 Some of the sights were so sad. People at the slots looked like zombies.
Didn't stop me from wanting to see Vegas at least once though
Vegas is something that you definitely need to experience. Go with friends, though, it's much more fun.

Nooooo! I can’t get away from the Baby Shark song! I was literally in the hospital watching shark week a couple of years ago and that song came on! This was when covid was huge (in hospital for other reasons) covid negative. But since no visitors it was complete silence and that freaking song came on. Just when I thought I could get away from it…I couldn’t. 🤣

In 2005 my boyfriend of like 6 weeks and I planned a trip to Vegas with a group of friends. I was 25 (the only one who’d never gone before), boyfriend was 34 and friends were all around mid 30’s. We planed it several months ahead of time so it wasn’t a chaotic mess for my first go. Needless to say I was super excited and couldn’t wait for travel day to come.
Fast forward those several months of not so patient waiting and right before we go I find out I’m 4 months pregnant!! Noooooo! Turns out I had gotten pregnant just a few weeks into our new relationship and had no clue. By my math it had to be one of the first couple times we were “together” before we even started the Vegas planning. Still continued with the trip as it was all paid for and needless to say I was the only one sober and unable to do any of the fun stuff at all. I was determined to get to do something crazy on my first trip like everyone else gets to so…………

Those long drinks actually aren't meant to be bong shaped, they're "yards" which is a shape of vessel from back in the days of horse drawn carriages. They were super tall drinks that could be handed up to the driver of the carriage or something like that.
And they sell them at every fair, festival, and bar! IDKnow what she meant by they only have them in Vegas. Maybe Canada doesn't have them?
The guy that thought it was a bong reminded me of Tommy Chong. Or was that the joke?
Yeah, yardglasses are standard issue at like 60% of the craft beer pubs in Sydney.

Here is what I found:
So many homeless and in some areas there are more homeless than tourist.
The outside fountains are used by the homeless to bathe and relieve themselves.
Cops told us that a lot of the bottled water sold on the strip were filled with fountain water (see above comment).
You can't walk more than 10 feet without being accosted for money (they don't want any stinking food and will throw it at you).
Never look behind any bush, never.
Drunks are everywhere and most of them think they are very entertaining, not.
People just throw trash on the ground (inside and outside) even if the trash can is right next to them.
Heat and more heat and if that isn't enough there is still more heat.
Too many very young girls painted up and powdered up hanging on the arms of some of the slimiest old men I have ever seen.
Prices are through the roof ridiculous.
If you have a lot of money, nothing is out of the question.
It stinks; rank body odor, vomit, and human waste smells are unavoidable.
Food throwing is not uncommon in the restaurants on the strip.
Fools running around yelling about how fraked up the world is and that the end is near.
Yeah, a good time was had by all.
Lived in Las Vegas most of my life and USED to love living there, right up until the late 80's when Californians discovered that Las Vegas was a nice place to live and proceeded to turn it into an overcrowded mini LA cesspool, back in the day Las Vegas was a much different place than what it is today and I HATE to see what Californians have done to my home town and Nevada in general, same BS is going on up in the Reno / Sparks / Carson City area. Most Nevada residents today are from California and they fuck up everything they touch

I live in Vegas and Little Darling’s doesn’t miss with the signs. The day that the AH and JD verdict came in they changed it to “So Amber, we heard you need 10 million. We can help” and I about died
😂😂
That is hilarious 😆
No way lol. I live there too. Damn I missed it😂🤣
" Little Darlings hundreds of pretty girls... and 3 ugly ones," will always be a personal favourite from when I lived in Vegas
