Too bad Seraina and Sonia are gone. Both are excellent and very promising musicians and two of the coolest metal chicks out there! Really loved to see them in this band!
Gender gimics aside, Burning Witches is just an excellent band! Yes, they have broken the "glass ceiling" for women in heavy metal. Yes, there have been other all female bands who are also incredible. The difference here is Burning Witches tells us women are not just equal, sometimes they are clearly better! This band blows away 85% of all other power metal I have ever heard! They derserve no less than metal god status (or goddess in this case). Burning Witches is hands down, simply some of the best Metal that has ever existed.
FUCK YES THEY DO! Sonia Anubis was already a goddess before this band ever recorded their first album though because of her work with Sepiroth, ESPECIALLY their album UNinvolved (which is the easily best osdm album of the 10s this side of the underground)
