im in a predicament, i dont know if i should play this game i like mmos but i love pvp too for end game and stuff but i heard this game is basically dead and there is barely pvp. I dont know if i should give it a go or just play another mmo with pvp(I dont like throne and liberty and New World.
the population is def at a low point at the moment but it's honestly not as dead as people on reddit will often repeat.. but some areas of pvp, higher tier capped content (some node war tiers, siege) are more or less dead at high-end because of it. if you're new to the game there is a LOT to do and a lot of fun to be had for at least a few months and the game is 99 cents half the time, so if you're curious about it there's no harm in getting it and trying it for yourself! the content that is the most dead at the moment is content that caters to veterans, and it'll be bare minimum 6-8 months before you even attempt to get into it so i wouldn't worry too much. otherwise i think most people at the moment are waiting for the calpheon ball to decide whether or not to give up on the game as well (the calpheon ball is like ... a big showcase of the content they're releasing ASAP and the game direction they desire so that'll dictate whether or not the population of players returns that currently left for throne and liberty.)
