The UI and User friendliness of this beast is still a nightmare, but by practising along with you, stuff gets clearer and clearer. Deep bow. this is mind boggling, its truly amazing you can get such an amazing and capable instrument these days for a few hundred pounds I haven't played or owned a keyboard since I was a teenager about 30 years ago and the keyboard I had was a yamaha and didnt even have touch sensitive keys, even that was an expensive feature, something like this would have been thousands of pounds and completely out of reach of most beginners only professionals had these sorts of things. This has features and sounds I could only dream of, I know the instrument doesn't make you a better musician but this really makes me want to try and learn to play again as I gave up in my teens at that time I wanted to do other things
Great keyboard, I purchased the CT-X 3000 because of the tone editing capabilities. Also the ability to create and edit rhythms as you would with a drum machine. I just did a version of Silent Night for Christmas (plus other videos). It's on UA-cam titled "Silent Night by Rob Jackson". I used a split and layered string voice, chior voice and phaser effect tone for Silent Night.
I unbox my ctx 5000 at xmas, so excited and thanks for demonstrating the dsp. I'm gonna use it for deep bass effects in the breaks between the songs in our Band and will see how deep it goes with e. G. Pad sound plus Arpegiator, octave shift on phrase pads... Must be great food for the subwoofers, hope that this is possibel 😎👍greetings from Germany, Dj_Akey

Can your make complete songs with the CT-X5000? It has always been doable with my Yamaha PSr740 1999. And Since the FA-06 it too highly priced and i actually was liking the workflow of an arranger this instrument really caught my attention! Its a like a synth and arranger combined isnt it? Greetings from the Netherlands and I wish Casio alot of success with all of their products!!!
What makes me put a step back on both the 3000 and 5000 models is the lack of drawbar sliders as the Casio MZX500 has because at the same i like the sounds of this model shown in this vid. Some sounds sound a little toyish in my opinion. I also like the sounds of the old Roland GW8!!!
Hi I have a question regarding the CT X5000 - is there a way to disable the reverb (and other effects) on presets to get a dry sound for recording? Or are the samples themselves recorded with reverb?
Amazing technology. Any way we could get Ethiopian traditional instrument tones such as Kirar, Masinqo, Washint, Begena, Kebero etc... of how to edit the tones available to make those tones.
Can I combine several effects from DSP? For example, take some strings and add distortion on one side and synthesizer effects on the other? Nobody asked that and it is an important question for me because it greatly increases the possibilities of creating voices
My X3000 have for a reason no bass in the rythm acc. I have to go to the mixer each time the increase the delay to get any bass Sondag from the system. I even reset it to factory settings but that didn't solve the problem.

And how exactly can we download those presets from the "casiomusicforums"...? Is it necessary to connect the laptop and download it there and then from it to the keyboard from the USB port???... (I've never done it before...) Thanx a lot...
You'd download the files and put them on a USB drive. They must go in a folder called MUSICDAT. Then put that USB drive into the CT-X and you can load them from the Media menu.

@@blessankuriakose2551 Sorry but it is impossible to diagnose a power adapter issue over the internet. There could have been a power surge or something else but better the power adapter than the keyboard.

Sorry not 76 keys. The CT-X line-up is only 61 keys. The CDP-S350 has most of these sounds with 88 keys.
