Purchased the max white version. Having issues with wiring harness. DD sent another harness. No change. Same issues. Hooked it up exactly like video. Aux 3 - no lights. Aux 4 - all six lights turn on. Aux 5 - backlights on (as they should). Nice lights. Really bright. Just wish they worked properly. I guess they are working on a fix.
Does the connection of the road-legal Fog to the parking light mean that the Fog will stay on, regardless of high or low beam use. Because OEM fog logic turns off the Fog when high beams are on. I would prefer to keep the Fog on all the time the headlights are on , low or high.
Hey there! The parking light function is wired for the backlit functions of the pods. You can also wire them to the low beam functions. Unfortunately, You will have to wire the main beam fog light to another switch, whether it be an additional Aux switch, or another wired switch inside the cab to keep the fog pattern on with the high beams.
We are unsure where exactly the relay was placed on this particular install, however they can be mounted anywhere you see fit, keeping it away from any hot or moving parts!

@@cajuclc Hey there! Depending on the trim you have, it could be different. The headlight plug should be fairly high into the wheel well, and should be a 16 pin female connector, plugged in directly to the back of the headlight. On that connector should be a green wire with a brown stripe for the power wire.
I struggled to find it too, it’s hidden but imagine where the back of the headlight is while reaching through the gap towards the front of the car; not straight in towards the motor where you see the other connector
These pods naturally generate enough heat to melt snow! Of course, there are certain limits of snow they can melt in a certain time period, which is the case for any light.
Same issue as Duck Hunter 238. Fogs won’t turn on with headlight switch. How do we resolve? Second fog harness same problem. tapped into sidelight brown and green wire as video shows. Not working. Tap even cut through entire wire. If DD knows issue and has a fix why are they not sharing with every order?!!

Backlights work on switch. Off roads work on switch. Fog lights don’t turn on along w headlamps , switch is on ….. super disappointed w install process … 👎🏼👎🏼

Can the lights be mounted to the bracket prior to installation? Seems like it would be easier.
Yes you are more than welcome to install the lights to the bracket prior to the bracket being installed if that is easier for you!
Where did you end up securing / mounting the fog relay and the off-road relay boxes?

At 9:10 what size wrench do you use in combination with the 5/32" allen key to aim the fog lamps?
You'll use a 3/8 wrench!
I can't find the headlight plug. There is one that is gray and white. And the black one I see is tiny compared to the one shown.
