My only issue with the new Batman figure (aside from the missing leg printing again) is the damn 4+ capes Lego seems to be leaning more and more into. Between this set and the Marvel CMF I'm worried it may become a new mainstay of theirs.

I’m pretty sure they use the 4+ cape so it doesn’t bend while sitting, but yeah I prefer the regular cape too
I think LEGO needs to start listening to their fans like the custom Batman mask looks amazing they could really use that for the new Batman helmet mold and I really want to see a new version of Two-Face from The dark Knight
If lego listened to fans it wouldn't have taken years to get a amazing spider man set

Yknow, something about Two-Face’s design in TDK, what with his entire left side completely burned to a crisp and exposing his internal muscles and his skull, doesn’t exactly say “child-friendly” to me.
This set feels like the epitome of lego's move towards quality lately.
Man, that custom Scarecrow mask is AWSOME!!!! It surpasses the original and looks very realistic.

The custom Scarecrow head piece would look sick with the Official Lego Scarecrow Body
I LOVE the custom Scarecrow fig but I do want to say:
1) I think the mask is a little bit too big, just a bit of a reduction in size
2) It does need more detail looks a bit bland compared to the official fig from Lego
While I love the detail of the custom scarecrow, it deviates from the official lego feel drastically. The whole idea is to make a custom that feels like something lego might produce on their own, which the scarecrow is not.

I really like that alot of these batmobiles lately have been either styled after/directly made from a specific era of batman and a villain from that respective version of that batmobile (like the recent 89 looking batmobile and the 60s batmobile)
I think the nightmare face is great for Black Mask
I'm definitely planning on getting the new UCS Tumbler since I missed out on the 2014 one, and I'm also hoping to get the smaller one too.
I really want that Batman, but holy hell the aftermarket price is awful on PC

That Cowell that he made for the dark Knight, looks kind of more like Robert Pattinson’s. The one that comes with the set looks more accurate in my humble opinion

@@danman4315 The tie-in figures from the old 2008 Batman line were gray, so was the dark knight rises set figure.

I don't like the glossy paint on the custom ones, scarcrows moulded mask is a nice piece despite the glossiness.
Could always spray it with matte tan paint, then add in the details with a fine point paint pen

All I can say is, mix with the custom cowl/head/cape and legs with the Official torso, and you get yourself the PERFECT LEGO Batman minifig.
The standard lego batman looks accurate enough to Batman Begins.

But that custom batman is from The Dark knight, while the Lego batman is correctly from Batman begins with the cowl dropping to the neck and the less armoured (less detailed) suit. You're comparing apples to Bananas.

The "wings" on the side of the tumbler are build wrong. They are supposed to be flush on the side...just saying

The Phoenix Customs website is currently closed "for the summer" but they should re-open anytime now. Unfortunately, they produce extremely limited numbers of their minifigs; both of these have been sold out for months.
