    Would be nice if resolume would support multiple audio inputs coming from a interface or virtual audio channels. Then you can use seperate audio input sources to trigger different parameters. This would give far more control when playback audio from a daw with seperate audio outputs per channel for example.

      You are absolutly right and this is something we'll support in the future.
      But so many stuff to add, so little time ;-)

      I was hoping this was already a feature. Please make this a priority for future updates!

    Can I somehow use a wav-file or similar to sync the music to?

      You mean like a click track? That is not possible in Resolume right now.

    Anyone here know the cable you need to connect your computer to the audio input devise? I'd like to connect to DJ decks (not sure which model yet) as my audio input.

    • @ResolumeVJSoftware
      @ResolumeVJSoftware  2 роки тому +1

      You need an audio interface to do this.
      You can run any kind of audio cable into the interface and the interface connects to your computer via USB(most of the time).

    can you limit the input to a certain range of frequencies? obv most of us just want the sub range for the beat ( unless you are a person that dances to the words) lol

    is this the only effect that works with that? I can;t see the stupid option in any other effect

    how do you make it sync to the music on your computer?

      VB-CABLE is a virtual audio device working as virtual audio cable. All signals coming in the CABLE input is going to the CABLE output. Then It becomes simple to make computer audio recording or to connect a player application to a recorder one.

    For some reason this isn't working for Resolume Arena 5... It doesn't want to read in audio from Hercules RMX2 Console... Any idea why?

      Know it's a bit late but you have to allow Resolume in your mic settings.

      @@andrepretorius4702 No worries. Funny enough, been awhile since I've done anything with it, but thought about starting doing stuff with it again. I think I had that done, but will make sure to check it again when I get back to it.

    How does this work with linking midi?
    Do the functions affect eaChother?
    Like if I wanted low mid hi, but also snare kick for example

    • @ResolumeVJSoftware
      @ResolumeVJSoftware  3 роки тому

      MIDI and FFT are two seperate things that don't really interact with each other (one is data the other audio).
      Low mid hi would be the entire spectrum right? kick is in the low and snares are in the mid.
      You could easily make 1 param respond to the kick and another param respond to the snare. Or adjust the frequency band to low and high to have it respond to both kick and snare. Mind that the bassline also lives in the low .. this might require some fine tuning depending on the music. FFT is not really an exact science unfortunatly.
