In regard to welterweight, I can get past some boring performances(Garry, JDM) and boring fighting styles(Belal, Leon)... But I cannot get past them ALL having boring PERSONALITIES. I mean Belal at least has some decent moments on Twitter occasionally, but in front of the camera he sucks, they all suck. They all have negative aura. Which is crazy because a couple years ago WW maybe had the most aura with Kamaru, Colby and Khamzat.
Flyweight is boring. They have no aura. Bantamweight is on one hand, they have Sean O'Malley. A well rounded striker and on another boring contenders. Only Yan is good but dude's ass nowadays. Former champ Aljo is now a featherweight. Featherweight is also like this. Volk is in 155. Max is too good of a contender. Ilia is a weak champ. And rest are boring. Lightweight has great champ but no fighter is half as good as Islam in wrestling. Also Dustin, Chandler, Gaethje, McGregor are good but all in mid 30s, not as good as champs are just holding the division back. 170 has same problem. Fighters don't fight and champ along with no. 1 contender are decision merchants. At 185, good division but scrambled. 205 is great but it's a done deal considering Alex's dominance. @@felipearaujo9673 well yeah a lot of fighters from top 15 will be happy to fight him, it's high reward, they get to get into the top five if they win, but that doesn't make for him too, it's not fair for him to go back and fight someone from the top 15 that won't get him close to the title, and furthermore it also depends if the ufc is offering him those guys that are ranked lower than him or not, i think they want to get him into the title picture.

In regard to welterweight, I can get past some boring performances(Garry, JDM) and boring fighting styles(Belal, Leon)... But I cannot get past them ALL having boring PERSONALITIES.
I mean Belal at least has some decent moments on Twitter occasionally, but in front of the camera he sucks, they all suck. They all have negative aura. Which is crazy because a couple years ago WW maybe had the most aura with Kamaru, Colby and Khamzat.

Flyweight is boring. They have no aura. Bantamweight is on one hand, they have Sean O'Malley. A well rounded striker and on another boring contenders. Only Yan is good but dude's ass nowadays. Former champ Aljo is now a featherweight. Featherweight is also like this. Volk is in 155. Max is too good of a contender. Ilia is a weak champ. And rest are boring. Lightweight has great champ but no fighter is half as good as Islam in wrestling. Also Dustin, Chandler, Gaethje, McGregor are good but all in mid 30s, not as good as champs are just holding the division back. 170 has same problem. Fighters don't fight and champ along with no. 1 contender are decision merchants. At 185, good division but scrambled. 205 is great but it's a done deal considering Alex's dominance. And for 265, please tell jones and stipe to do it on ufc 5 and end this madness.

I didn't find Ian Garry fight vs mvp boring at all. It was simply a strategical fight by Garry, the guy realized very early that he would get beat in the feet and tried to find another way to win, no problem with that. Actually, he almost did it by choking MVP, it seems that sometimes you guys forget this is MMA. It's not just throwing hands, but mostly adapting to the fights.
Islam coming up for welterweight changes the division. The lightweight division still has enough roster. I feel UFC has too many divisions. They should introduce p4p tournament by catchweight fights to change things.
