The way the mangakas voices pitch drops and says "All of it" in a serious tone gave me some real chills. Didn't expect her to be a strong character like they're making her out to be, though I guess the OP showed her getting heated so maybe it was expected.

from a directorial standpoint this episode and episode 8 of season 1 are the best directed episodes of the show imo. im a sucker for symbolism

Interesting detail for Akane is that when she is trying to get into Character for Sayahime, her Staringan is less bigger and shinier then when she tried acting as Ai. A little details that shows how she hasn't fully pictured the role she playing cause of different from the manga and the script has on portaying Sayahime.
It's not quite like that, if she had fully pictured a role that is not meant to be eye catching her staringan wouldn't be shinning either.

Manga tends to use mostly hiragana with some katakana and a few basic kanji.
The average Japanese person needs to knows 2,000 kanji characters minimum to be considered an literate adult.

Loving this season so far, this show scratches an itch that no other can for me.
Himekawa's voice actor is the same as Tsukki from Haikyuu.
When he's feeling a little lethargic, his voice is similar to Tsukki's, but when he's turned on, he becomes youthful and active, so he's a completely different person.
The voice actors' performances are also amazing.

Ok the way they did the paint scene when they were acting was really freaking cool. Such a creative detail by the animation team
(Also I dunno why it could just be me but why does one of the actors look like Kenma,m? Might just be the hair I dunno)
I get both sides when it comes to the mangaka and the scriptwriter. No one wants to see their creation crapped on. But, it's a totally different medium. A mangaka can create a beautiful, over-the-top 2-page spread - that same scene on stage would probably set a production like this back thousands of dollars.
This is why I love anime adaptations like Chainsaw Man, where they didn't try to copy the source panel-for-panel. They used used the medium's strengths. Changing the Princess from a conflicted, thoughtful character to a murderhobo so "the audience can understand motives more clearly" or whatnot is kinda insulting to the audience, though. They'd be able to follow along.

I LOVE this series ! Its amazing , with animation , the funny moments , and all the characters designs are beautiful! And the music is spectacular! ( I love the S1 op English dub the most ❤ ! ) and my favorite characters are aqua, ruby , kana , akane , and frill ! They're awesome! 😁👍
I'm not a manga reader but i hope we can see more of aqua's perspectives while acting, it's cool to see how he thinks inside the stage

(First, I'd read those two as "hounin" or "houjin," going by "Chinese-style" pronunciation; if that didn't work out, I'd try "native" pronunciations, maybe "fusebito? "Fusetto?" "Sakimori" comes out of nowhere!) English isn't that different. If you're taught poetry in school, then you know that the poet Yeats should be pronounced so it rhymes with "fates." Both Kana and Akane are so dedicated they'd try to learn every irregular reading; many great actors would just learn whatever they needed for each role.
