Honestly, I think Lily did this on purpose. I mean, not only did they die the way they injured the doll but also the order. Syd went first, then John then Scarra and finally Jodi. Lily didn't do anything to it. Lily also conveniently left out parts of the ritual and forgot the stuff for the ritual in the house. Lily also didn't bring the salt when they left. But not Syd going out first XD
and I just noticed that whoever hurt the doll got killed exactly how they hurt the doll! Like how scarra was drowned, miceal chopped the leg off the doll, etc! I love the little details haha. YEAH and in toasts stream he mentioned that they didn't want Syd to die first because usually in movies the black people die first sadly😭😭
