    I love the Ferenc Pinter Tarot. Ordered it the first day I saw it. I get what you said about seeing things that aren't necessarily obvious in the picture. It is the same for me. I absolutely love journeying with this deck.

      It's a really cool deck! I decided to take a break from it at the moment, but honestly, I keep thinking about it, so I'm not sure how long the break will last. Lol

    What kind of night time ritual do you do with your cards before bed? I haven't found one that works for me.

      I've been asked this a few times, so maybe I'll do a video on it soon. I always have a nightstand deck going. This is a deck that I want to spend time with or get to know. I ask it what my next day is going to look like, and I lay 3 cards. These 3 cards represent: beginning of my day, midday, and end of my day. They usually highlight an event/situation or person that will come forward during that period of the next day. I make note of those cards so i can revisit them as the following day unfolds if i want to. If I want more info or clarity, I simply shuffle again, asking my new question. Sometimes, I have questions about events that took place that day as well. This is a system that I created for myself many years ago to make sure that I'm using my decks daily as well as putting the tarot into my everyday life, making it easy to understand them. I feel it's important to develop a simple way that works for you that gets you using your decks as much as possible. Don't make it complicated, keep it simple. If it is too complex, people tend to get overwhelmed and stop doing it. This is what works for me and keeps me closely connected to my intuition and my decks. : )

      @@sootandsalt Thank you. So if you pull cards the night before for the next day, what do you do in the morning?

    • @sootandsalt
      @sootandsalt  4 місяці тому

      @loum111 My mornings can be quite busy depending on my schedule. So this is when I use an Oracle. For a few quiet moments, I shuffle my chosen oracle, asking for my advice or guidance for that day. I pull one card and usually read the guidebook, but sometimes I don't need to (based on how well I know the deck). I place it on my card stand where I can see it throughout the day as a reminder of my guidance for that day. This is my typical use for Oracles. I use tarot and oracles together for my readings with customers, but rarely do I do it for myself. No reason other than I'm in this routine. Oracle's will give you great guidance like reminding you to maybe take a few moments for yourself that day or to maybe mind your temper more so than usual or to face a situation from a place of love and understanding..stuff like that. The type of guidance or advice depends on the Oracle you use. Daily mantra decks are good to do this with as well. The Tarot the night before tells me about the events and people coming in, and usually, the Oracle offers advice on how to navigate it. Hope this helps.

      @@sootandsalt I love that balance. Thanks. I might flip it around and use an oracle at night as something for me to use as a lens for my day or to sleep on.

      @loum111 definitely try that out! Divination is a very individual/personal practice. You've got to find what resonates with you. That is the only way you will be dedicated, and it becomes YOUR practice. I'm glad I could help you. : )
