Went in February this year and loved it! Wasn't a busy day since it was a bit cold (around 22 °C max) but still can't recommend getting express passes enough if you're there for just one day. The place is massive and chances are high you won't be able to ride everything with just a regular ticket.
Any place that has a waverider/flowrider that's included with admission is a instant win for me. I live watching new people Wipeout and me not having to pay for doing it all day
i think the Atlantis water-park in the Bahama's has a similar deal with their water coasters where it drops you off in the lazy river, and takes you up a conveyor belt to get back to the water coaster. that said if memory serves it only took you up to 2 of the coasters, and you had to drag your tube up several more flights of stairs to get to the tallest water coaster.
Those lines look like hell to me. That one shot shows what looks like a 30 min+ line. If lines are that long, then i rather go some where else to take some slides.
I actually went here just a few weeks after you guys, I went in early March. And thankfully at least when I went queues were generally a lot lighter. Rarely did stuff have more than a 30 minute wait and some of the watercoasters were complete walk ons. Though I also had some things I did and didn't. I had a sore leg that day so I didnt do some of the body slides like the huge tall "Blackout" on the triton towers, and for some reason, one of the water coasters "The Storm" (which I had heard was the best one in the park) had its weight limit raised so you needed to be 70kg or heavier to ride. And I was literally 69.5 and couldnt go. That sucked. I did also go on some slides you 2 did not. Like Poseidons Revenge, the aqualoop slide. Quite intense and a little rough on the back but otherwise great. I had done one before, actually one with 2 loops at Fårup Sommerland in Denmark. That one was actually more intense.
Almost sounds like they should apply the same method for helios and epic just give us a nice nice ass hotel that could cover an admission fee as well for your stay.
As long as this water park is a bucket list destination, I have an important question to ask : Are regular lines standby or virtual ? This is the most important information I check about water parks since my disaster visit to Volcano Bay. In fact, I was unaware of their Tapu virtual line system, and it ended up ruining our day. The slides we wanted to check were either already full for the day, or had a consistent +4hour line. Any of the other good slides had at least a 45 minutes virtual wait until the last hour of operation, not accounting for the 20 minutes actual wait on the slide. Since the virtual queue only allows you to be in one queue, you can't scan all major attractions at the same time. To make things worse, there are very few attractions that don't require a virtual wait, so that I ended up paying for an experience that mostly included lazy rivers and pools at Universal high price. Despite the amazing theming, this wasn't worth it at all ! I had way better days at basic swimming pools (Chatelaillon, Saint Malo, Saint Hellier) or other smaller water parks.
@@Southeastern_Thrills yes indeed ! Unlike their dry parks, Volcano Bay doesn't seem to have the same capacity with its slides only, thus needing to rely on pools, lazy rivers and long chairs where guests could wait in their virtual lines. If Universal had increased the overall capacity by increasing the number of slides, it would have decreased theming and immersion levels.
5:24 Big Kahuna's in Destin, FL has a similar thing going on - the two lazy rivers start with slide sections and form almost a transportation network around the park, with several slides emptying into or right next to them.
yeah 105 but that includes for example 10 “different” 5 foot long kiddie slides right in a row in the kiddie area. it’s mostly for marketing but technically trye
I usually love your videos, but supporting an economy currently built on the backs of slaves dying in droves and insitutions notorious for animal abuse is a real let down - skipped coasting in the desert because of those reasons. Still really appreciate your overall channel, but this feels wrong.
It’s a must try experience that I’ll probably never get to experience as Holidays to Dubai are WELL EXPENSIVE!
100+ slides is wild
ikr. though that does include for example 10 “different” 5 foot long kiddie slides right in a row in the kiddie area.
6:00 Atlantis in the Bahamas has a similar system with the tube slides going into the lazy river

5:33 my local water park also has that feature and I do have
to say that it is really nice to still cool off and relax after one of the slides
I've been!! It's probably the most thrilling experience of my life, absolutely incredible!
I’ve been to Atlantis Bahamas 3 times now. This is a huge bucket list waterpark for me.
You guys have to try Siam Park, Tenerife!!!

As someone that’s been here three times it’s incredible. I would recommend it.
Thanks for sharing. Staying at altantis over christmas and new year
The waterpark+beach resort combo reminded me of Beach Park! Great park to check out as well!

I went on a less busy day and we already had some lines with an hour wait... I can imagine that the lines in peak season are going to be even longer!
This looks way better than the location in the Bahamas, and that's my favorite waterpark in the world.
Maybe one day, you will compare this to this one and the other in the Bahamas.

Ah yes I love when coaster studios makes a review while mindbender at Six Flags Over Georgia is casually flooded 💀
Dude, they’re literally in Asia right now.
Looks so good I really want to go 🤩

That's only a problem because the park gets so crowded. Universal can't control that.

Holy cow this park looks massive, is it bigger than Dollywoods water park?
Didn’t you already make a full video on this or was that a different one? 😮
We did a vlog which you can watch here! ua-cam.com/video/YG3ilOCjdnY/v-deo.html

I haven’t been in the water park there only been to the resort so I can’t say

Wish I could go someday, but Dubai is not really a safe place for us queer folks to visit

I know right 😂
Did yiu actually just say 105 slides? Lol stop lying, no water park has nearly that many.
Why don't you do your own research before spewing negativity....They may have more...This place is huge!!!
