I’ve just purchased the Chpt3 P Line (v4) and love it. I’ve waited years to get a Brompton and now I’m bizarrely obsessed with it. A bike for life for me…a big change from spending so much money on road bikes and Lycra.
As an owner of a much former, flame painted 2019 Superlight (Better name than P, C and T-line), it is presently down to around 8,5 kilo, and falling, with a little more work on the mainly mudguards. But I have leather grips, with print, as it is a Brompton!

It is a cracking colour alright - very nice indeed. Interesting you're having problems with your Ergon grips as I put a pair on a new bike last September and also have had trouble with them loosening off, while two older pairs on other bikes haven't budged at all since they were fitted. I've now done 'em up mega tight and hopefully they'll stay put.
Hello, thanks for the review. Would have been nice to see both of them in full-out position, so see the difference. One thing I've heard, is that the rear rack is shorter on the P-line, so that some bags don't fit as well (such as Vincita Big Nash). Have you checked that? Thanks!
I still dont understand the obsession over Bromptons. Maybe its like Rolex's. People are drawn to the iconic name. I had a Brompton. But once I got a Tern Verge X11. I never looked back. Brompton is the bike if you have to get on and off public transport alot. But if you want a fast awesome bike that defeats any hill. The TERN VERGE X range. Especially the X11. Rule the folding bike world all day long.

for the ergon, have u tried tighten it without the bar end first and after all tighten up u insert the bar end then.
