What type of vacuum do you like that does NOT have a mopping system. I have wood floors and these mopping systems are bad for them. So I just want a Vacuum only for wood and carpet. My Ecovac is on its last leg, and hate to have a half mop/ half vacuum for a mop I will never use. I love the mapping on the Ecovac until it loses the maps every few months.
This is my favorite none mopping vacuum! It is incredible on carpets and overkill for hard floors! If this is out of budget I recommend the s9+ but the navigation is not as advanced as the j9+! Clean is just as good but won't work in dark/low light and won't avoid obstacles!
Just bought it, update soon. Customer service was/is unbelievable 👍 the best. We have wall to wall carpeting so our house will be a real test.

Been running the j9+ no mop for several days now and it’s done an exceptional job with the wall to wall carpet upstairs and downstairs. My house is clean! Now I just need to learn how to maintain it haha
@@BlazingNina works great! Do to a back injury I can not use a vacuum cleaner and this Roomba was a perfect solution. Cleaned the entire house, upstairs and downstairs 👍 very happy.
Got one about 2 weeks ago. Takes longer than my old robot but that is OK. Customer service was great. My first issues were because the filter filled up fast and vacuum could not suck as it should. This was because I have a fireplace and lots of small dust particles filling the filter. Once I realized I needed to keep the filter clean it performs great. Does make strange movements

so what is its cfm? and how does it compare to a standard roborock s8?
It would be like 3.8 for iRobot vs 5.1 for the s8. Roombas also score lower in our CFM test but deep cleaning wise they score the same or in this case the J9 would do about 5% better cleaning on carpets!
What would you recommend if not this product? Not interested in mopping really

Yeah if you wanna stay in iRobot and still want the best of the best then it would be the j9+ follow by the s9 followed by the j5,6or7!
@@DigitalDavid just got the j9+ but the mapping seems terrible and the auto empty doesn’t seem to always work
I must have had a bad unit cause I exchanged it and now it’s a champ
When David said he didn't know the battery life, I checked the j8+ robot battery life and it was 2 hours. So I think the j9+ robot 🔋life is higher. Don you think so?
