Overall I’ve been a fiberglass guy. I actually have a pair of 40 cm small rubber/plastic fins which I use for shallow dives and quick trips for ease of transportation. But in general I use my medium stiffness fiberglass fins for everything. I know carbon fiber fins have increased in durability by a lot compared to how they used to be.
Hi! How much performance difference in percentage would you estimate is between fiberglass and carbon fins? Would you say you really feel the difference when using them in the water?

Awesome! I have a set of plastics and carbons. Kinda wish I got fiberglass to save on the cost and peace of mind lol
what about fins stiffness? how do choose between S, M, H?
Depends on your weight, I like soft but I’m 162. I’d go med if I was over 190
@@castandspear my weight is always between 78KG and 80KG and I shoredive no boat
I’d prob get a pair of fiberglass soft fins since the shore dives will bang them up good
@@castandspear thank you 🙏

I’d say way less noticeable than say plastic to fiberglass or carbon
