I can’t believe how perfect everyone looks in this trailer! Not just Ahsoka herself but Sabine, Hera, Chopper, and of course THRAWN himself. The trailer literally made me replay Jedi: Survivor just so I can duel wield white lightsabers just to fight like Ahsoka.⚔️ I’m now literally counting down the days till this show premieres!
@@ncard00mandalorians are trained to kill the force users, combine that with Kanan training and Ahsoka training I think she have a chance if she will be smart
AH-HA! That would explain Sabine's appearance in the trailers...there's probably a bit of a time-jump between their first meeting on Lothal (after discovering Din Grogu's existence), and the now-famous epilogue from Star Wars: Rebels.
This trailer was so good. I decided to do an entire Star Wars marathon. I started with Phantom menace and do all movies and shows. I got the rest of July to watch all of the, ready for Ashoka.
My first reaction came when Ahsoka mentions "Heir To The Empire", which is about time. To me, Timothy Zahn is a big part of why Star Wars stayed alive during the early 90's, along with Dark Horse Comics and their series 'Dark Empire'. I also like how they are bringing in what 'appears' to be a Star Map, which is something that was seen in the 1st video game 'Knights Of The Old Republic' (2003) which is set 4,000 years BBY. For this, I am very happy, and say "Thank you, Disney." I also hope the rumors are true and that they will do the next film trilogy set around Knights Of The Old Republic 1 & 2.
This releases at 7pm here, the night before I fly to Rarotonga at 9am. I want two hour-long episodes, but I suspect my wife will also want to sleep. According to Collider, there are indeed eight episodes in the series. All written by Filoni (naturally).
Kanan was training Sabine to use the Darksaber and when Hera suggested he wasn't doing it "properly" was because Sabine didn't have the Force, Kanan said: "The Force flows through all living things, you just have to be open to it."
I mean that's just a general statement of fact, also one curated by the teachings of the Jedi who pursued the appearance of "openness" and, lets' face it, dogma... Yes, the Force flows thru all living things, but we are talking about wielding it; just because the force itself is "common" that doesn't make force wielders as common I personally don't think they are going the route of Sabine being force sensitive, for several reasons but the most important being the fact that we had plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of opportunities to explore her "force abilities" in Rebels (if she had any) and they never did... I mean, like you said, she trainer with Kanan and Ezra and they even really pushed her to "feel" the force in her training with the saber and it never did... And second, it's the fact that she is a Mandalorian and force sensitive Mandalorians are not just rare but near non existent; there are races that are more common and prone to have it and races that simply don't... And while they haven't dealt deep in the live action shows about the lore behind the dark saber and the ONLY force sensitive Mandalorian to ever be part of the Jedi Order, I don't think they will introduce a force sensitive Mandalorian, specially not a well stablished "old" character (if they do it, they do it with a "new" Mandalorian) and specially not when you have Grogu with a somewhat similar story of becoming a "full" Mandalorian with his force sensitive abilities I actually think is far more likely, if these characters have good reception and hold for the future of Star Wars, that the first "force sensitive Mandalorian", it's actually going to be Sabine and Ezra's child... Well, imagining that they come out of this show and of this arc both alive and together that is
So Wendy & Dustin I think Sabine probably called Ahsoka Master because she was teaching her how to use the darksaber(off scene or comics) more efficiently when she had it back then...Ahsoka will have 8 episode in this mini-series more than Obi-Wan and Book of Boba Fett which both has 6 episodes! BTW did you see that Lady from The Mandalorian who had the light staff that Ahsoka was fighting reprising her role in this? *Rest In Heaven Ray Stevenson who was truly was an amazing phenomenal actor❤🙏🏾🕊.
I think the inquisitor is Ezra because of the episode " Shroud of Darkness " where the grand inquisitor tell Kanan that Ezra will fall to the dark side. We know how Filoni loves to put parts in one show early then have it come to pass way later.
I mean canonically Ahsoka did take on The Inquisitor in Tales of the Jedi. The fifth brother and seventh sister in the episode future of the force during Rebels second season. Then in one day she thought those two as well as the eighth brother( with Kanan Ezra and Maul), she had a free free match with Maul. And then she had a fierce confrontation with her former Master as well as the emperor....in 1 day. And this says nothing about her blast protection training under Anakin or the fact that she had multiple run-ins with the likes of Ventress and Grievous over the course of the Clone Wars. I think it is safe to say that Ahsoka is a certified badass( and that is before we talked about her dual in season where she fought Elsbeth)
I think we’ve always assumed that finale with Sabine and Ahsoka at the end of REBELS, where Sabine narrated, happened shortly after the Battle of Endor. Yet what we see in this trailer is Sabine with the short, dark hair she had in the REBELS finale, before the mural, and with Ahsoka in a cloak. Could this be a live-action version of that scene? Don’t see it being a flashback, since in MANDALORIAN S2 Ahsoka was still looking for Thrawn. Something must have happened between REBELS finale and this series. Kind of doubting Sabine will be a Force user. That green lightsaber is most likely Ezra’s. Kanan was teaching Sabine to use the Dark Saber, but she passed it to Bo-Katan not long after.
This series is only 10 or so years after the rebels show timeline wise. So sabines parents could be alive, however…. We do not know if they may have been purged in the night of a thousand tears, as shown in the mando show. In rebels, they didn’t live on mandalorian proper, they were on a moon, which is how deathwatch/ children of the watch survived……so I guess we will find out.
Chopper has not been mentioned by you guys...he, like R2D2 in the OT, PT Area, was crucial in advancing the events for all meat bags having thier galaxy wide trouble of figuring out a rational way of coexisting. )))
Love the trailer! Countdown is on. I am wondering how they will incorporate Kanan and Hera’s son, Jacen. He would have to be at least a teenager in this time period and very likely force sensitive. Adding him into the mix would be even more compelling and really expand the story in different ways.
Of course its going it the right direction. All 8 episodes of the series are written by Dave Filoni (and he's directing a couple as well). If anyone is gonna get Ahsoka and the rest right, its gonna be the guy that created them.
my understanding of SW cannon lore which to be clear has nothing to do with disney is that you have to be force sensitive to turn on a lightsaber. like there isn't a minimum threshold of ability, just like the bare minimum would turn on a lightsaber.
Back at the time when I play the olds rpg Star Wars game on my college days back in the early 90’s for a force sensitive it will be able to distinguish the weight of lightsaber and it getter lighter’s by training and force level and also that transcend in the amount of damage that can inflict. Wonder if Felloni will use that rules? Because at that time everything was meticulously approved by Lucas film
So basically this will be Rebels Season 4.5 (pre-epilogue). I’m guessing this first season of Ahsoka will be the lead in to that final scene of Rebels. So season 2 of Ahsoka will be the search for Ezra?
I don't think Sabine is Force sensitive, I think that when Ezra went away, she took it upon herself to try and do what he would have if he were still there. I. Their last scene together in Rebels, they had that moment of understanding between them, where she understood what he was doing and helped him do it, knowing he probably wasn't coming back. And the message in this trailer makes it clear that he trusts her to keep the fight going in his absence.
This is so awesome when I seen I was hyped I can't wait for the full story to unfold who are the non Jedis there's backstory is what I want to know more about oh yeah give us 8 episodes or more and wasn't andor like 9 or 10 episodes
In MY opinion, Sabine isnt force sensative. But she does hold onto Ezra's light saber. Sabine held the Dark Saber and was being trained by Kanan to wield it, and briefly by Ahsoka. Calling her master could mean a buttload of things: mocking that relationship, or submitting to her training. Anyway, glad we are getting 2 episodes lol
i would not mind her to be in some way force sensitive in some way however unlikely . . but i agree def not a wielder, there was absolutly no evidence for that
I think maybe because Sabine handle the darksaber at one time and because she missed Ezra perhaps Ahsoka try to train her as a Jedi but then it just didn't work hope which might explain why when the Mandalorian wanted her to train the kid she tried to bypass the situation because it didn't work out well with her the first time because if you know that Jedi are very extinct despite the fact that you did not complete your training as a Jedi you would want to at least try and train one if your culture is very rare to find people that habit and let's face it Anakin Skywalker she really cared about and I think it's a very sensitive issue which is why I think in this show we're going to get a lot of emotional stories from her past that she is still not comfortable talking about and I think why she is able to talk about it and able to be comfortable she'll be able to move on a little bit and become a lot better as a person and not be so closed off
Yes! Ashoka trailer! I mean I am sold so, I do not need to this trailer but since I am a fan of Ashoka I need to watch it! 😆 They are going to have a two episode premiere, cannot wait! ❤😉
I’ve watched about 8 reactions to this trailer. Star Wars is throwing everyone off with Sabine’s reference of “Master”. I don’t think that was directed to Ahsoka at all. Sabine is not force sensitive. She still has Ezra’s lightsaber so she may have been training to use it better, but a Jedi…no. Brilliant editing by Star Wars. though.
To me, Rosario Dawson in this trailer doesn't seem as Ahsoka. She is too serious and overbearing, she's more like Mace Windu than narky, stubborn, impulsive, kind-hearted and funny Ahsoka. There's no Snips vibe to her😕
I can’t believe how perfect everyone looks in this trailer! Not just Ahsoka herself but Sabine, Hera, Chopper, and of course THRAWN himself. The trailer literally made me replay Jedi: Survivor just so I can duel wield white lightsabers just to fight like Ahsoka.⚔️
I’m now literally counting down the days till this show premieres!
I feel like Ahsoka was Sabine’s master in training her to be a better swordsman
Same! I feel like in the trailer it's a bit of a red herring.
Yeah, but if only to stay alive and survive a fight, cause she’s got no chance against Shin.
@@ncard00mandalorians are trained to kill the force users, combine that with Kanan training and Ahsoka training I think she have a chance if she will be smart
Just like what kanan do
Yea kanan was training her while she had the dark Saber. So I think its just lightsaber combat
This might be why Ashoka didn't want to train Grogu...bc she couldn't commit to training Sabine, maybe out of fear.
AH-HA! That would explain Sabine's appearance in the trailers...there's probably a bit of a time-jump between their first meeting on Lothal (after discovering Din Grogu's existence), and the now-famous epilogue from Star Wars: Rebels.
RIP Ray Stevenson
Kanan eluded it a Lil bit woth the force that Sabine had a mental block and that's why he was so hard on her during the dark Sabre training
I was so happy the moment I found out they brought back Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn
Ahsoka… took on Sabine as an Apprentice!!!!!!
Sabine calling Ahsoka "Master", and Baylan's acolyte telling her "You have no power!" - That should be one a fun storyline. ^^
So many awesome things in this trailer, action, Chopper, and we finally see Thrawn's face. This series is going to be epic.
I loved the trailer, all the characters look amazing and I'm curious about Sabine calling her "Master"
I'm so happy with how Thrawn looks! Lars is gonna do an amazing job!
This trailer was so good. I decided to do an entire Star Wars marathon. I started with Phantom menace and do all movies and shows. I got the rest of July to watch all of the, ready for Ashoka.

I’m so ready!! Ahsoka! I can’t wait for this. I wanna see some flashbacks too
So excited. The whales are called Purgills lol
A lot of people have been missing Vader's breathing when Baylen mentions Anikan to Ahsoka
We need more of Ezra Bridger 🔥🙌
This releases at 7pm here, the night before I fly to Rarotonga at 9am. I want two hour-long episodes, but I suspect my wife will also want to sleep.
According to Collider, there are indeed eight episodes in the series. All written by Filoni (naturally).
Glad Disney chose to kick it off with a 2-episode premiere so Ahsoka could end 2 days before the premiere of Loki Season 2 on October 6th.
"This is where the fun begins."
This trailer reaction was good as the “oh” count was high
Kanan taught Sabine to use the dark saber and there was a nod to Kanan with the haircut of Sabine.
Kanan was training Sabine to use the Darksaber and when Hera suggested he wasn't doing it "properly" was because Sabine didn't have the Force, Kanan said: "The Force flows through all living things, you just have to be open to it."

I like Wendy's Shirt... it fit's the theme with the trailer ALOT!!!!!!! Can't wait for this series.
Nobody said Sabine force sensitive Ashoka teaching her to use light saber
I Have a Really Good Feeling Darth Vader will Make a Big Cameo in this Series.
I think Ezra might be that inquisitor at the end. Did you hear the Darth Vader brearthing a bit towards the end? ...RIP Ray Stevensen. :(

Chopper has not been mentioned by you guys...he, like R2D2 in the OT, PT Area, was crucial in advancing the events for all meat bags having thier galaxy wide trouble of figuring out a rational way of coexisting. )))
Maybe Sabine chooses to walk the Jedi path but without power.

Thank you!
Can't wait for the series to come on August 23 what about you guys are you excited and hype? And by the way nice Ahsoka shirt Wendy 👍🏽🧡👍🏽🤍👍🏽💙👍🏽
Where can i find a partner like you😂 you are both lucky
I’m really hoping that inquisitor isn’t Ezra.
it’s not his name is Marrok
It is very interesting to see your full detailed reaction to the trilogy of Star Wars. It is a cool classic 👍🔥
