We know so many wish they could see Queen Elizabeth tomorrow give her annual Christmas message and sadly that is something no one can offer. We can however give a gift of seeing her very first and sadly her last Christmas messages for the first time through our eyes. We hope this tribute to the late and terribly missed Elizabeth the Great is well received. We continue to remember her and the massive legacy she left behind. We are honored to share our first viewing of her Christmas speeches with you all. We fully believe King Charles will do a fabulous job with his first Christmas Broadcast tomorrow. Thank you all for watching and for your support. We sincerely wish you ALL a very Merry Christmas!! God Bless!
I truly look forward to each video that you both do. It is a high point of my day. You gals are so respectful of our late Lady that we Brits have taken you into our hearts as honorary Brits. Your humour, positivity and honesty always shows and we love you for it. Craig from Southampton, Hampshire!! Keep up the good work. Lots of genuine love ladies xxxxx
Most people here have never known anything other that Q.E. II as the monarch. The one steady anchor who has been there carrying out her duty, quietly, with dignity, decade after decade. Like millions of others, after having our Christmas dinner we would all stop and sit down at 3pm to listen to the Queen's Christmas message. She's seen hundreds of Presidents, Prime Ministers, Popes etc. come and go. I bet she could tell you some stories if she were still here! However, she never would. Her motto of 'never complain, never explain' was the ultimate 'keep calm and carry on'. 💝
You are always so respectful for our Queen, and I am so appreciative of it. For 2 Americans that were brought up in a country without Monarchy the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth seems to have really connected with you deeply. I am so thankful for our friendship and the joy you bring to my life, thank you for what you do xx
She was Live on the Telly for a few broadcasts. The first few times she was so nervous, Prince Phillip would stand behind the camera and make funny faces and act out silly things silently to get her to smile and relax I miss her so much my Dad served in the Coldstream Guards when her Grandfather King George V and was in the Honour Guard on the steps of Windsor Chapel Royal during the Kings funeral. He was still in the Coldstream Guards when her father King George Vl came to the throne. He was in WW2 and a despatch rider behind the lines in France when he was injured and came back to England by ship. He continued on duty at Windsor ,Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace, and elsewhere. I am very proud of all my Dad did for the Royal family. I miss Queen Elizabeth II so much.💔😢 I am amazed that you are so very respectful of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Thank you so much for the love and, respect you show her. My Dad knew her and her sister Princess Margaret when they were children, before, and during the War. God bless you both🙏🏻🌹🇬🇧
The Queen was referred to as 'One Take Windsor' due to her always being able to nail the speech first try. We shall miss her speech being part of our Christmas day this year.
They had to redo it once. It was being filmed in some stables and one of the horses was moving its mouth in such a way that it was like it was taking the micky.
yes.. my family ALWAYS watched it when I was growing up and beyond. I still did.. we would time christmas lunch to be over by 3pm. Se wou;d settle down with coffee and chocolates by then and listen to Her Majesty. It just seemed part of christmas for us at least.
I know what you mean, I was in the Women's Royal Naval Service, she was the best boss I ever had. His Majesty King Charles III is doing a grand job, especially under such difficult circumstances. He always speaks so well. He learned from the best! Happy Christmas 🎄
Good Morning Ladies! I’m looking forward to seeing our King continue these christmas traditions tomorrow. It’s going to be difficult not seeing her but life moves on and Charles will honour her well.
I am more than willing to share the 3 feet (1 meter) of snow I have at the moment with you both. Merry Christmas! I am Canadian and the annual Christmas message from the Queen and Queen Mom was a big deal in my family. You see we were immigrants from Iceland and Canada welcomed my family with open arms. As such my parents were in love with not only Canada, British Commonwealth, but also the Queen ... and very strong patriots. So am I!
Hi Warren! I too am descended from Icelandic settlers - on the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba. Don’t we have the most wonderful country in the World?! 🇨🇦🇬🇧
This was beautiful to watch. Didn’t expect it to make me cry as much as it did. I do look forward to seeing The King’s speech tomorrow. Thank you ladies and I hope you have a lovely Christmas.
Bless you ladies. I am an old man now, but I still tear up when I see Queen Elizabeth since her passing. I lost my own partner Lesley in March, then my dear old Springer spaniel Cholmley in August, then came her majesty's death, after all the losses through covid. What a sad time it has been. Queen Elizabeth has been the best advocate for a monarchy there could be throughout all these years, as the representative of our country (& of those of like kind). Above the bear-pit of party politics so able to hold the respect & loyalty, & Love, of all, & indeed prevent any tendancy to radical or extreme government. She held on to, & encouraged in others, the finest values of service & concern for all, with a quiet dignity & humour, & without a trace of ego or pomposity, in spite of her exalted position. We all would do well to follow her example. Thank you girls for your recognition of this, & for reminding us, & for your great reaction. Bless you both, & all you love. Merry Christmas.
Lovely video. It’s going to be strange without the Queen’s message on Christmas Day. The Queen did a special “Covid message” too in 2020 which was really touching.
Dear, dear ladies thank you for these two broadcasts by the Queen, I was caught off guard myself by how emotional I felt as I listened to her two messages, decades apart, and yet each as wise. We have been truly blessed to have such a Queen. May she rest in peace. Happy Christmas Natasha, Happy Christmas Debbie. Although we have never met and we are thousands of miles apart I want you both to know how pleased I am to be one of your 'UA-cam' friends.
As an Englishman, I must thank you for the respect that you have shown to our departed Queen, and all things culturally English. You are more than welcome to visit us anytime, and we would love to see your vlogs from here in England. Thank you Girls.
What a moving and beautiful tribute to OUR Queen. When I say our Queen i of course include you BOTH...... GOD BLESS both of you... The WORLD is a far far far BETTER place because you are BOTH in it.... Sooooooooo much Happiness TO YOU
The King's Christmas broadcast was marvellous and very 'him'. There's a sense of rightness because in our system it's the succession that matters. God Save The King.
Hard to watch without the a lump in the throat , wise words of hope , consolation and reconciliation , brings back so many memories of Christmas past . Her Majesty kept her vow to serve her people earning respect from other Countries all over the world and she will never be forgotten . King Charles has a hard job to try to follow his beloved mother , but a large reservoir of love and respect to aid him .
This year will be a tough one, we have lost our dear Queen, I have lost my dear mum - which still seems heartbreakingly unbelievable. But there are words of strength in those speeches and I look forward to King Charles’ speech this year.
HM legacy lives on in all the quietly kind and decent people in the world. Thank you for being two of them. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas
That’s me in tear again. It’s going to be weird not seeing the Queen give her Christmas message. I watched every year. You’re so right, she was a very wise woman. Happy Christmas to you both 🙂
Sat here crying my eyes out, I miss my Queen more than I ever could imagined. Christmas will not be the same without her beautiful smiling face wishing me a happy Christmas 😢😢❤
Merry Christmas beautiful Ladies! It was lovely to remember The Queen with a little tear in my eye. Best of Christmas wishes to you both and a special hug to Natasha as she remembers her Mum tomorrow. 🎄❤️💋xxx
I am an Englishman and sadly I’ve never really seen the queens speech, I watch the kings ones but I was too young when the late majesty was alive so I was really happy and proud to finally see them.
That was lovely.. We miss our wonderful Queen, but must carry on.. her inspiring words will remain. I wish you both a very Happy Christmas and great New Year..
Ladies, I am quite overcome. 1957, not many families had TVs. I am overcome because this first speech could easily slot into today because of the constant onslaught of people wishing to tear down the fundamental traditions of the UK and what we stand for. It will be a sad day tomorrow for so many people. Natasha and Debbie, I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as I do to everyone else. Ps. I loved the "snow".
I was just thinking that, the queens first one would be perfect to show in today's Britain... btw I think king charles nailed his first xmas speech this year it was spot on
Morning girlies, what a lovely tribute to our late Queen Elizabeth. I lost my Dad on Boxing day 8 yrs ago we all spent Christmas day around his bed at the hospital and again boxing day. The following year we thought there would be a space at the dinner table again but there wasn't as we had a grandson in that space and our Christmas was wasn't a sad one but a joyous one. We do miss dad every year but we feel him with us. Love to you both and a happy and peaceful Christmas xx
Now you know why we loved her so much, her faith was her bedrock, and she was ours ❤ I loved the photo of your Mum, Natasha, her kind soul shone through, such beauty stays in our hearts forever. Take courage from Queen Elizabeth's words, especially as she meant every one of them. Happy Christmas Natasha & Debbie, and God Bless you both, 🙋♀️🇬🇧🇺🇲💖
A great light was extinguished with her passing and our mourning continues. But a New light is lit in her beloved son Charles who we now look to in confidence of the future of our beloved country and it’s traditions. The Queen is dead, Long live the King!
Thank you for this beautiful video ,my husband lost his mum to diabetic complications on the 23rd of December, when he was 18 ,he was her only child and sadly he had no one else .He said that he has had more Christmas days without her than he got to have with her ,but he isn't sad anymore , he has his own family now, and he celebrates Christmas for our boys and always trys to make it a nice day for all of us. wishing you a merry Christmas and a prosperous New year. X
As a Brit, I am pleased to hear the Queen remind us we are all united around the commonwealth and beyond. This allows me to see you two lovely ladies as sisters, and as my sisters I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a hope the new year brings you to meet your British family. Much love to you both.
Thank you so much for reacting to the first and last messages from the Queen. In retrospect I was struck at how apt her words were and that they still resonate to this day. Like you, it brought years to my eyes. At 71 years old I have only really known her as Monarch but I am looking forward to the King's speech tomorrow. She has left us in good hands. Thank you once again. Enjoy your Christmas and I hope 2023 will be exciting for all of us.
Her words resonated in me. How perceptive, how true and how full of wisdom. Wisdom is something which seems to have gone out of fashion as very few of our current politicians of whatever persuasion show. I served in the Queen’s military for twenty two years and I am not afraid to say I cried as I watched her. Thanks girls for your channel and your kind words.
Thank you for this, ladies. It's been a tough year in many ways for many of us. Not least for yourselves, as you have shared with us here. But we made it, in no small part due to the warm welcome and friendship we out here have found from the two of you. Thank you for sharing your lives and hearts with us all, you both helped us to battle through. Probably far more than you realise. I know Christmas is a difficult time for you, particularly Natasha, so I won't throw out any platitudes about a happy Christmas, but we will be raising a glass of........erm........fruit juice......to both of you tomorrow. God bless you both, now and always. Xx
I didn't expect to have tears in my eyes after watching this video but having lost my Mum earlier this year I can understand how the Queen felt. Also I can't believe how relevant the 1957 speech is so to today.
It is lovely to hear your reaction to these messages. Growing up, we always watched the Queen's message on TV on Christmas Day and so many people did and do so. Over 10m people watched the message, that is a huge number. I do recall that back in 2020 we had an unusual message from the Queen. Other than the Christmas speeches, there have only been 5 times that the Queen addressed the nation. The 1991 gulf war; the death of Lady Diana, the death of the Queen Mother were the first three, for her Diamond Jubilee was the fourth. The fifth was the lockdown at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. In my view, that was a speech that really hit the mark. It was just 2 weeks after the lockdown started. If you have seen it then I am sure you will have appreciated it. If you haven't seen it then I would recommend that you do, it was an important moment that could not have been repeated by an elected politician.
She had the marvellous ability to make me feel proud, proud to be British, proud to be human. She truly was the best of us. A heartfelt thank you your Majesty for all your patience and service. 07
Thank you girls it won’t be the same Christmas Day with not sitting down to watch the Queens speech at 3 o’clock I understand King Charles is talking about his mother in his speech have a lovely Christmas sending love and prayers from England x x
Wow. I've never seen her first Christmas message but should it not be commended that the Queen has a great way of speaking with people but also how she can so good in front of a camera. She's literally reading that script to her right without blinking an eye lid while not staring away from the camera. That's a talent in its self!
It is interesting that while it is yet only a few months since the Queen's passing, it already feels almost like it never was - and that there's always been a king! While the anniversary of Natasha's mum's passing must bring its own emotions - you remember that wisdom this Christmas: look forward with confidence. She'll not return this way, but one day in the future, reunited we shall all be! God bless you both, Merry Christmas!
I’m the complete opposite. I forget she’s passed and can’t get used to singing god save the king or saying King Charles instead of Prince Charles. Just shows how different we all are and how we all cope with loss or change differently. Merry Christmas 🎄
@@Lovelee123 agreed, in fact most people still seem to sing God Save the Queen as happened during the recent World Cup. Perhaps after the Coronation of a King we will finally move on.
I'm constantly amazed at how much respect you both pour on to a country that you've never been to.. it shows incredible empathy and depth of character. That said,me and mine will raise a to glass to you both today and a second for Natashas mam.God bless Merry Christmas to you and yours, love as always from the UK PB. Xxx PS we're Brits there big glasses. Lol.
I was born in 1973 and really can't remember a Christmas without watching the queen's speech and whilst I am looking forward to Charles giving his first message I really am a bit sad that our family tradition is now changed. Both her and prince Philip really are missed! Have a merry Christmas ladies and everyone who reads this.
Morning Natasha and Debbie, thank you for this I’ve got tears in my eyes. Queen Elizabeth was truly a remarkable woman who is missed deeply. She was our mum, grandmother and great grandmother tomorrow will not be the same.
I wouldn't call myself a royalist but as a Brit I like the fact we have a royal family and when the Queen died I was more upset and effected than I thought I would be. The main reason we get together with family at Christmas is because any Christmas could be a last Christmas for someone, so let's raise a glass to those who are sadly no longer with us. Merry Christmas to both of you.
It's been a tough time lost our cairn terrier he was 16 riddled with cancer and then lost my Grandmother who was 97 and Alzheimer's miss them both so much. Hope you ladies have a lovely Christmas and happy new year xxx
I'm a brit Male across the pond of 67 years vintage, I've always loved your show and this upload brought a heartfelt tear to my eyes .the queen was a beautiful person that will be missed .however I wish you both a very merry and happy Christmas from me and the UK bless you both xxx
Beautiful from the lovely tribute at the start to the final comments. I lost my father back in 2018 (the day before my 50th Birthday) and my mother a week after my 51st birthday. We remember them at Christmas through our family traditions. A couple of my family traditions passed down by my parents. (1) Turkey cooked on Christmas Eve with a turkey cob (roll, bap, or whatever it's called in your local area) for supper. (2) watching "It's a wonderful life" again on Christmas Eve. The message on that film is that no person is a failure who has friends. You ladies bring that friendship and love and through your youtube channel have brought together a family that is cherished. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you both and the rest of the channels family. All that remains is to say, "Merry Christmas and love and peace to you all" ❤
Like many, many other families far and wide at 2:59p.m. on Christmas Day the call would go out around the house "Come on! It's the Queen's Speech will be on in one minute! " Time to get the glass of sherry or whisky for the adults and lemonade (kid's champagne) for the children ready . Then "shush, shush everyone ! " And so we were all gathered to watch and listen as we had done every year in mine and my brothers and sisters living memory! How strange that we take these traditions for granted. What a lovely thoughtful message from you both. We do wish you a very happy Christmas Natasha and Debbie 🎅🎄 xx
Queen Elizabeth, such beautiful, wise, humble words xxxxx You made me proud. Our longest reigning monarch in the whole world, (and no one else can say that!) Always loved and never forgotten. Rest easy ma'am xxx
Thank you for this and the respect who have shown to our Queen ❤️ I had never seen her 1st speech so im greatful to you for that. Have a merry Christmas. Sending love from 🇬🇧❤️
That was comforting and besutiful. Thank you ladies. I lost my mum christmas 2019 so you are not alone looking forward to the holidays and dreading it in equal measure. May you both have health, wealth and happiness in all your endeavours in 2023. Huge love Craig xxxx
Her Majesty could certainly do a speech! And she wrote them, not some flunky. What a amazing person! Still can't get used to her not being there in the background.
What a beautiful film. I remember all past Christmas Speeches, all the family would sit there and listen to her calming, positive words. She will be badly missed, a light definitely went out in the world when she passed. Thank you for this, it brought a tear to my eye, of what we are going to miss.❤️🎄🎄⛄️🎅
Hi. I am English; spending part time in France. This touched me, hugely. The Queen was like our national mother. Like you, Natasha, I lost my mum and close to Christmas in early January 2020. The words of the Queen offer great comfort and her loss was another sadness. Thanks for sharing. Peace and love to you both. Deano. Suffolk/Strasbourg.
As a Canadian male senior (3 weeks younger than our King), this show popped up on my feed yesterday. What a wonderful trip down memory lane. As a young kid, I remember sitting about 10 inches from the radio speaker to listen to The Queen's Christmas messages (we couldn't afford a used tv until I was 13). My parents always were there as well so after I moved away from home, I kept the tradition of always watching our Queen's message - it always made me feel like my parents were with me. So your broadcast warmed my heart and I admit a few tears flowed down my cheeks. I never missed any of her messages and I proudly can say I'm a life member of the Monarchist League of Canada. Thank you two for showing such respect and admiration for our late Queen. The world will never see another head of state like her.
Ladies your are just so beautiful together and so good to watch please stay warm and safe have a wonderful Christmas together abd continued success in 2023 love you both xxx jamie from london and yeah it’s gonna be sad no more Elizabeth but Charles will be amazing and a new positive chapter in British history xxx
I’m certainly not over our loss. I couldn’t stop crying at tonight’s royal Carol service, which included the most beautiful tribute to our late majesty. I’ll toast the new king tomorrow but also take time to reflect just how impactful her life and service has been to me and many millions/billions of others. I love your videos ladies. Happy Christmas.
Morning Ladies. I lost my Mum to cancer when I was 18 years old. That fateful day my whole life changed I gave up my Job in the country of Iceland to be back home in the UK 🇬🇧 to raise my then little 3 year old brother. And now I'm soon to be 58 years old. Natasha people say time heals the pain I believe it does not you learn to cope with the loss of your Mum. Stay strong both of you. Merry Christmas and thanks for all your vids for us to watch. RIP Queen Elizabeth.

So true that first speech in 1957 was talking about today.
I was just thinking that, the queens first one would be perfect to show in today's Britain... btw I think king charles nailed his first xmas speech this year it was spot on
Many people had TVs in 1957, do research before instating it though it were a truth.
Thank you from Adelaide South Australia.👍🏻👍🏻❤❤
Merry Christmas to you lovely ladies this made me cry as I remember my mum to , R,I,P Queen Elizabeth. From 🇬🇧 North West..
I didn't want to cry.....but here we are .
Now you know why we loved her so much, her faith was her bedrock, and she was ours ❤
I loved the photo of your Mum, Natasha, her kind soul shone through, such beauty stays in our hearts forever. Take courage from Queen Elizabeth's words, especially as she meant every one of them.
Happy Christmas Natasha & Debbie,
and God Bless you both, 🙋♀️🇬🇧🇺🇲💖
A great light was extinguished with her passing and our mourning continues. But a New light is lit in her beloved son Charles who we now look to in confidence of the future of our beloved country and it’s traditions. The Queen is dead, Long live the King!
Our Queens messages were often very powerful in their meanings. Looking forward to listening to King Charles first message
She always did know what to say. A giant passes into history but her legacy will be timeless.
I thought I had typed tears. Don't you loathe predictive text sometimes?
Xx
God Bless you and Merry Christmas! ❤️❤️
I didn't expect to have tears in my eyes after watching this video but having lost my Mum earlier this year I can understand how the Queen felt. Also I can't believe how relevant the 1957 speech is so to today.
I find your respect so beautiful, hope you understand the heart we love for our queen and the commonwealth. Is hard to put into words
Stunning intro very special and magical and what an absolute beautiful tribute thank you ladies
Her majesty has and will be always, the brightest light that God has blessed us with. Thank you girls!
Thank you girls it won’t be the same Christmas Day with not sitting down to watch the Queens speech at 3 o’clock I understand King Charles is talking about his mother in his speech have a lovely Christmas sending love and prayers from England x x
Merry Christmas from Norfolk UK xxxxx
Thank you both for such a respectful tribute to Her Late Majesty. I found your kind words so moving. Have a lovely Christmas, both of you.
Wow. I've never seen her first Christmas message but should it not be commended that the Queen has a great way of speaking with people but also how she can so good in front of a camera. She's literally reading that script to her right without blinking an eye lid while not staring away from the camera. That's a talent in its self!
I was born exactly one year after her first broadcast, Christmas day 1958. It's so strange that she will not be there this year.
I'm from the UK...love how respectful you both are of our culture xx
Merry Christmas to the pair of you and all your loved ones
Hope you ladies have a lovely Christmas and happy new year xxx
you girls are smashing which is very good thank you so much
I'm a brit Male across the pond of 67 years vintage, I've always loved your show and this upload brought a heartfelt tear to my eyes .the queen was a beautiful person that will be missed .however I wish you both a very merry and happy Christmas from me and the UK bless you both xxx
That was a beautiful tribute, thank you both so much. I miss our wonderful Queen.
All that remains is to say,
"Merry Christmas and love and peace to you all"
❤
This brought tears to my eyes. She was an amazing woman and much loved in my country.
Love and best wishes to you for your loss. I hope you both have a great Christmas
Thankyou for this, natasha and Debbie xx
Queen Elizabeth, such beautiful, wise, humble words xxxxx You made me proud. Our longest reigning monarch in the whole world, (and no one else can say that!) Always loved and never forgotten. Rest easy ma'am xxx
'honesty counted as foolishness' How true is that. In this day and age of social media, it pays to be dishonest.
Thank you for this and the respect who have shown to our Queen ❤️ I had never seen her 1st speech so im greatful to you for that. Have a merry Christmas. Sending love from 🇬🇧❤️
Lovely to share that with you. Thank you.
Boy could she see into the future in her first speech.
This was a wonderful idea.
Thank you so much and wish you a happy day together.
The Queen also had a deadly nice smile RIP Queen Elizabeth
Merry Cristmas to you both and a very happy and successful New Year

Thanks ladies for doing a nice Christmas tribute to our late Queen, Merry Christmas to you both 🎅🎄🎁⛄
57 year old man here. Every time I see and listen to her tears well up and I think they always will.
Thank you Natasha and Debbie. This was so inspiring and touching. You have a wonderful channel. Merry Christmas to you both.
