Yes I definitely prefer the metal version myself and looking at the views and likes on both videos it seems that the metal rendition is the most popular. I really enjoy when Dan adds the metal element to songs that were more traditional and re-imagines them with his own unique twist. Natürlich ist es Geschmackssache dem einem gefällt es oder gefällt es nicht. Ich liebe Dan's outros, schade das er es nicht mehr machen kann.

I'm evidently in good company because I definitely like both versions for what each one brings to the table & it really does depend on my mood. The metal version with a cup of coffee is a great way to start your day 😀.
The traditional one is more for winding down & chilling out. It does fit the back story of the song better, too. Definitely wasn't intended to be a "happy" song in the game, but a mournful song full of longing for a fairly forbidden or at least hindered love. Thanks for your reaction, as usual. 😊

Beide Versionen sind absolut hörenswert. Bei der Metalversion kommt sein Stimmumfang so richtig zur Geltung, (was mir ein bisschen besser gefällt). 😃 Ich höre beide gern, je nach dem in welcher Stimmung ich gerade bin. Vielen Dank für deine Reaktion.

One thing I DO like about this version, that catches my interest a bit more, is that shift in keys there, near the end. I actually do like BOTH versions very much, so usually when I listen to one, I take the time to listen to the other, as well. That way, I get to "have my cake and eat it, too," as the saying goes. Thanks for the extra Dan reaction, even though his official week is over. 😀

Both versions are great but the metal cover is my favorite. Thanks for your great reaction and spotlighting Dan's awesome vocal abilities. I think you would also really enjoy his cover of Manowar's Battle Hymn. It's pretty epic. I look forward to the next one.
