    Not me tiying like a 100 of tiny knots and inserting the yarn in random loops. Nothing ever unravled🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

    Thank you I’m an intermediate crocheter and this eases all my worries about ends coming undone after wearing my piece.

    This is great info, but how would I weave end on a continuous grand square? There aren’t these long rows to weave into. Suggestions?

      @coolmomization I think you're talking about a granny square you made in a spiral. You still work your yarn tails in & out on the underside of your granny square. If you're using multiple colors, try to weave in colors that are the same into stitches that are that color. Make sure to go in at least 2-3 different directions. If you have a cluster of stitches to go through that is good. You want to make sure that your ends don't work their way out over time. You don't need to go through a lot of stitches, just make sure to go through a few in each direction, change direction about 3 times, & do that for each yarn end. You will not be able to see your yarn once it's woven in. I hope I explained that clearly.

      I work my ends in as I go! Requires no needles. I tie a knot somewhere inconspicuous to make sure yarn stays put, and hold the ends with my project while crocheting over them. Saves time and frustration 😊

    this is how I weave in my ends, but my ends still end up poking out. they don’t come undone, but I can still see them.

    Is it not required to knot the final bit of yarn?

      there’s no right or wrong way to weave in your ends! this is how i do it, and i believe it works best and I have never had any projects unravel!

    I saw someone use a singular punch needle and stab it into the stitch with the yarn tail. It seems like something that would work well 🤷‍♀️

    • @Pinkberyl72
      @Pinkberyl72 5 місяців тому +1

      @randomcomments2454 Yes, punch needle is very cool, but it's a completely different craft than crochet, & it's done quite differently. It just would not work for crochet. In crochet & knitting, you need to weave in your yarn ends with a darning or tapestry needle, so that your stitches are secured, & won't come undone over time.

      @@Pinkberyl72ohhh, sorry, i meant weave it in and then use the needle to make it extra-secure 😅
