- We asked one simple question: How do you say, "I Love You", in your Indigenous language?
This is a crowd-sourced project organized by The 1491s. All footage was submitted by fans and supporters from throughout the world.
We say thank you to all those who submitted videos!! We are working on a succinct credits list, to be posted here, soon!!!!

Hi any chance to spell them out? I see the names if the tribes are there but "I love you" is not written out in every language. There are at least 1 out of every 3 in the US are either hard of hearing, deaf, late deafened or deafblind. I am deaf and legally blind. Can you provide the transcript under your video if you're not able to add the additional subtitles? Would really appreciate it. Many thanks.

Where are european languages??
I think the idea was to show indigenous languages. They are endangered all Around the world. Although in Europe there are the Saami languages that are indigenous. A few of them are spoken in my country, Finland (+ Sweden, Norway & north-east Russia).

Two dislikes? Really?!
Hell yeah!!! Lovin this video. Proud to see all of our brothers n sisters holdin it down.
I especially loved all the little kiddies saying "I love you" in their own languages. Too much cute - made my day!
Unci at the end made the lump already in my throat turn into tears. My cuz made it in saying "Ketebanena" which is a love for someone regardless of your familial relationship with them and can be for friends too. "Kemenwenamena" is "I love you" in the romantic sense. Awesome once again guys!!
Amazing work, Thank you for this! I would love to see Taino, Arawak, Yoreme, Quechua, Aymara, Mapuche, Guarani, Miskito, etc. all the different languages that are spoken by the First Nations of all the Americans including Central, South and the islands.
I loved this aww kids were soo cute then the beautiful elderat the end!!💟💞💜💕
