Tinashe is so underrated, I got dragged to a Noisettes concert unwillingly, but when I heard Tinashe he was unbelievable by far the best act of the night. As soon as I got home I looked him up on UA-cam I subscribed, he's the best artist Ive heard in a long time! And I'm hooked on A-Liar, can't wait for the album aswell!
the beat is infact proper, i call it a mix of RnB with the African house beat. i could listen that he infact puts a zimbabwean rythmn which makes sense considering that the song is to depict zambezi which a the great river in zimbabwe. the fast beat makes it perfect!!!! lovely, well done tinashe l definately love your music
new artists show up all over europe. i like in USA and we rarely get such beautiful lyrics or gorgeous melodies how i would fly over continents to hear him live!!!!!
I just today heard this though I've known the mbosi version for at least 10 years. It made me emotionally invested. I think it made this version mean more to me too
I feel people think he's not commercial enough to make it in America. i think it's true to his music is down to earth and real and some countries won't be able to sell don't want genuine music unless it's catchy
