To be honest, back then during Campus Superstar days, Meigui was one of the more forgettable contestants in the show. But this performance made me remember Meigui the Singer in all the time to come. Meigui's singing & performing has truly come a long way of improvement and refinement. Splendid Job, Meigui the Singer!!
i already said it in Spop comment 5 weeks ago and every week: is set that she wil win.... then sherly and leon behind... Spop created is meant for her , judges lov her( 3 from same working relationship) ... although is scripted, i quite support her amongst the 3. Sherly is influencer with jianhao , leon is a chef , shes from 933. Mediacorp and judges will decide she will win. i said before liao.
This is NOT scripted. Scripted is when a contestant is lousy and yet is still able to win a competition. It is an entirely different scenario here. Mei Gui’s performances spoke for herself and not who she is. Those who can appreciate good singing can tell that whether is it in terms of techniques, vocal or emotions, she is indeed one of the best singers or I can even say the best among all the contestants. In this episode, she even worked on her stage presence. Please also look at the view for each of her performances on UA-cam, these figures tell something. Focus on her performances and not who she is. :)
I agree with iceflamer. Actually Meigui has improvement in every episode. Her techniques very stable. I love the way she emotes her songs too. Her fame is really a double-edge sword as people misunderstand that she is the 内定winner. It distracts us from her potential and talents.
