It actually is, except that this game is much more forgiving for newbies. The easiest AI in Mario Golf plays Par in average, which is comparable to Normal in this game, and you don’t actually get to play against computer players outside Match Play.

This game has three times as much content than Mario Golf Super Rush on the switch. We live in an era where a lot of game designers have gotten lazy.

I'm actually really tempted to get this game. Looks great. I'm all set up with a new ps2, looking for titles just like this.
